My problem before was the fact that I'm running FJ Cruiser rear shocks because they have way way more travel than 4Runner shocks do. And I highly recommend it to Sam (Extend E-brake and brake lines first). However FJ Cruiser shocks come with valving for them, so DSM had Icon send them a valve stack for a 4Runner and they put those into my shocks. So my Frankenstein rear Icon shocks have 4Runner valving and FJ Cruiser length.

Edit-Now that my firewall is tubbed, I'm looking to getting it back in Arizona so I can see how these 35's actually perform.

@Desert Drifter can chime in here. I think he just went to .15 stacks from a bottoming out practically new Icon.

Pat had the Kings I got from him set up at .20 I believe. I haven't bottomed yet and love how they feel.

Lately it's been driving fast through Sycamore and less rocks actually. I hate them because they feel like 2X4's driving over speed bumps in my apartment parking lot. They only feel halfway decent if you hit them at 40 mph, which in an apartment parking lot isn't a very good idea.

Considered that too, but my absurd amount of rear lift should compensate for that.

Edit- Basically there is only one answer to my problems. Cut it all out, get a Ford 9", link it with trailing arms, and call it a day.

I have the King front and rear Icon now until I figure out wtf I'm going to do. I have a set of 14" 2.5 just sitting. I just don't know if I REALLY want SUA and start over or relocate these 14s and keep my SOA.

    Fucking SUA is another 1500$
    OR
Rebuild and sell these 14s and buy 12ss
    OR
    Inboard or hoop these 14s

I got mine done over 10 years ago and never had any issues with it, paid 5K I believe. I know there are places you cant get it done cheap, but I would caution you to make sure you do your homework and research about the particular place you're getting it done at. There's certain things in life I'll pay top dollar for, my eyesight is one of them.
