    That's pretty much the reason i picked mine up. We didn't see the need for two trucks, and with 4 dogs, it makes much more sense.

    Also, its just as capable, if not more, off road.

    Well, the 01-02 had the gen I atrac and no locker option, but they have the full time 4wd option too (aka. 4wd on black top). The 00 prior had a locker option.

    The early 4th gens are pretty cheap right now though. And they all come with gen II atrac, and the full time 4wd like the land cruisers . I would just find a v8 if you get interested. 3rd gens are sweet though. Almost traded my 4th in for one...
