I went to the one you go to and they had to align it 4 times and call a guy in from Phoenix to get it right. :notsure:

cool, I'll let you know. Pricing out my options between doing this or a complete LS swap. The LS will obviously be more expensive since I'll have to buy a trans and a T-Case if I wanted to keep it 4wd where as I think I could use the stock 5 speed on the 4.7.

    or just boost the 4.0

Decisions, decisions. Ls swap you'll never have to worry about needing more power ever again, but doing something unique with the 4.7 would be cool!

I wouldnt do a T56, probably a built 4l80 and an atlas 2. LS swap just in parts I bet I would be $15k the way I would want it done

most likely Ill pull the 4.0, rebuild it and throw on a URD blower with their stage 3 setup

I think running a Toyota v8 would be awesome! Especially with a SC. But even a worked over v8 would have plenty of power.

Everyone is LSX swapping all kinds of shit these days.

Its just hard to justify going through with a swap when in reality its still going to be under powered compared to a LS or even a boosted 4.0 with the correct tuning. Our trucks are lucky to put down 220 to the wheels with mild bolt on mods, IF I can make 420 with a bolt on SC system on the 4.0 for half the price of a swap that's the route I'll go. My WRX just got tuned by Goodspeed and did 280 on a pretty conservative tune with like $1800 in bolt on mods I was able to do myself.

@Aw9d try Stuart Tire, he does the alignments old school and gets it perfect. Firestone fucked mine up 3x and told me there wasn't enough adjustment left, he got it to ride great first try.

True, this is why everyone is LSX swapping. The sky is the limit on power when you start adding boost.
Didn't Eric make close to 500 on his URD Tacoma?

no idea, bud URD's Dyno numbers on a Stage 3 setup are like 422 HP and 375 Ft/Lbs. Their stage 2 progression is all exhaust stuff I already have done and a slightly smaller pulley so I would just go full kill with the 7th injector from the get go
