Yea at Turkey Creek it got bad in my tent. Once my head got wet from the condensation I got cold and said fuck it, that's when I moved to my truck.

You will like it, I know my FNP didn't work out for you because wanting the safety that the FNX has, but as far as how it shoots, it was very comfortable and accurate, and they are pretty much the same gun so you should be pleased with it.

Snow, or any other gun guys wondering if any of you have heard any good feedback or additional info not easily found online about the new magpul UBR Gen2?

I currently have the gen1 on my 10.5 SBR I went with it to act as a counter weight to having my silencer on, kind of balances it nicely, but added a decent amount of weight. Stock is 26.1oz and Silencer is 17.6oz. New version is 21.3oz so closer to a more accurate balance, but it seems like they stripped a couple of the original functions that made it feel beefy and solid. Gen1's are $250, Gen2's are $200, I'm already invested in the Gen1 so it would be as wash after a sale and rebuy if it made sense to change it out.

Yah thats kind of where im at, part of it is that itch of a new toy in the market hah, but I think id rather use that $200, and put it towards buying a Silencerco Micro22.

Yah the omega is awesome, but I'm a fan of caliber specific silencers, and unless im going to buy a few other calibers I wouldn't get the full benefit of the omega. So I already have my silencer for my AR, and so Id be good with just a 9mm silencer and a 22lr one.

Tuesday was an expensive day. Wednesday and today made it worth it.
LMT MWS .308. Need a better scope/reticle combo. Borrowed this scope and bi-pod from another rifle.

I've been waiting for the new Desert Tech MDR for a LONG time. It's now available for pre-order but the info trickling in is not inspiring confidence to many people.

It wasn't available for SHOT show range day is one reason.
