    First day no training wheels, second day ramp without wheels and hasn't fallen once. He is fearless and says he wants to do backflips. I think I'm going to have my hands full.

    There is a video floating around YouTube of a 2 & 4 year old racing around a track. One is on a mini crotch rocket the other a cart.

    Kids can be fearless.

    I am looking for a coupe for my 8 and 4 year old. I am sure the 2 year old will be trying to steal the bikes when we aren't looking.

    I agree, road rash sucks. I broke my collar bone at 6, since then have broken the other one, fingers, toes, sternum, and the road rash was definitely worse than that. Even worse is tendons, when you dislocate things or rip/tear tendons they don't usually heal right without surgery. Broken bones really aren't that bad after a few day it sticks and as long as you don't bump it then it doesn't hurt

    And bad ass Juan!

    @MICK

    I turned down an offer a few months ago.

    Current commute=10 miles of surface streets, 6am and 2:30pm workday

    Proposed commute=I-17 and Northern to 101 and Broadway, 8-5

    For like $4/hr more. Once I calculated increased fuel consumption and divided earnings into the time devoted to commuting and working, it was a wash per hour. Plus watching the traffic across downtown, I would have snapped pretty quickly.
