    such long shocks, for 4 inches of lift? lowered bump stops, but solid axle, its probably cause hes running 37's and cannot tuck them. right?

    Wow, must be! Those look like long ass shocks but stuffing 37's is hard....unless you stop up travel or get glass!

    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc
    why? tons of people do, better travel.

    Actually, the choice of doing rear disc brakes confuses me more than the shock placement haha...

    There's nothing wrong with that shock placement. A set up like that is more for side to side articulation rather then speed. If that truck isn't getting hucked then the shocks won't break. Tons of budget built crawlers/trail explorers are set up that way and have yielded great success in reliability. The disc brakes not a horrible idea, but depending on use of application it is a bad idea.

    ^Lowered bump stops is an understatement on that. The shocks arent going to break but why waste all of that uptravel? I'll live with putting a hole in my bed way before I would lose all of that travel

    They are set way too low, and I know my eyes are shitty but I don't see any actual bumps there. Just metal to metal :notsure:

    Why would you be wasting up travel with that setup? you don't run a setup like thia qhen you want both tires being stuffed at the same time. With shocks being in like yhat you get more wheel travel with shorter travel shocks

    I was thinking the same thing but since they are flipped ubolts they are probably on the axle instead of on the frame. If not that will be a harsh bottom

    Look like on the top of the plate there is a triangular bump

    Lol sorry long day. I meant if you would get more uptravel by making shock hoops and cycling to get correct shocks just like a LT. Or you can do that set up, get super long shocks to gain droop and just build a giant bump stop so you dont bottom the shock out and lose a ton of uptravel

    The shocks are also almost useless mounted like that, the valving would have to be set extremely stiff.
