maybe get there at 7am? how far from your place? as long as its under like 10ish miles we would be fine. Further then that on a beach cruiser single speed kinda sucks.

West side has stuff that none of the trucks ive seen at the meet and greets could do. Yet miles upon miles upon miles of play ground through the white tanks, lake pleasant, behind the estrellas, etc etc.

Seriously, I am up for almost anything on saturday as long as its not north/northwest Phoenix. Put up some stuff if you want to go.

well from the pictures it's looked like nothing my 08 prerunner couldn't have handled. Guess I'll have to check it out sometime afterall

 

Any place we go can be prerunner friendly with my winch and a tow strap... I dont even have my factory skids and have been all over bulldog.

Dude, you're wasting your time. The east side group will not come out to our side and run these areas, they just aren't interested, plus we tend to run in the upper age bracket out here.

It's always been that way between East and West in the valley. We dislike east, they dislike west, blah, blah, blah. We can keep our trails to ourselves. However, I don't mind driving to explore new "trails".

 

I've lived here my entire life and never heard anyone actually say anything about east side people and west side people not liking each other and what not.

I'm with outkast, just don't want to burn that much time to wheel when there is plenty of spots 30 min from my house.

 

When was the last big trail run?

I think the point that Nick is trying to make, and what I have noticed, is that whenever someone who lives in the west valley attempts to get a large group to run something on this side of town, there is very little interest from anyone who resides east of Central Avenue. Yet when someone from the east valley wants to put something together there is plenty of interest from everyone on here. If people have the free time and the interest, they will certainly show up for a run, even if it's across town.


I too have lived here my whole life. Sorry, the west side of the valley has always hated the east, at least where I grew up we did.

 

I would like to say that co-workers are worthless. At least mine are.

 

I actually lost some friendships and got blown off by some folks on here when I moved West. I thought that was pretty lame. I'm willing to drive anywhere there's a good meet. I'm just not going to go up and down the same hills in Sycamore every weekend.
