    Check out www.switronix.com it's the DV-GP4. It's splash proof rated, but a little silicon were the cable goes into the housing and I would call it water proof. Comes with a 6' USB cable. I also use one of those battery packs for charging phones. Just run a long USB cord to it, use with the frame mount when you don't need any water/dirty protection.

    I like to do time lapse videos of me working on the truck or bike in the garage.

    Thanks man. I could have reached out and touched that fucker I was so close. If you look close enough you can see the other 10 or 12 pigs running around all over when we started "woofing" at them. Pig hunting is a blast!

    Doesn't look bad. The second battery isn't a Sony so I don't know much about the life span on that battery. The SD card is also only 40mb/s. I don't have any experience with that as I use an 80mb/s card.

    The Hero 3 and 4 do have removable battery. I'm talking specifically the hero, hero + and hero + lcd.
