So my trip to see Prometheus gets all fucked up last night.

I stand in line for 2 hours (huge aliens fan here) just to make sure I have a good centered seat for the 3D viewing. Anyways, they get done cleaning the theater from the previous show, and this douche and his fat wife that were sitting on a bench around the corner jump up and go in the theater and take the center rail seats. Dumbass fucking Harkins staff doesn't do shit about it, doesn't even check tickets, then walks over and opens the line up so we can file in. I'm the first in there, and I call out this douchebag cowboy short fucker right in front of everyone. He turns to an immediate dick about it and next thing you know we're heading outside to fucking kill each other.

We bust out of the theater doors and there stands like 4 managers. This fuckbag runs up to the managers and starts crying about how I'm insulting him and his wife and being rude. Well lucky for me I'd already given a heads-up to the managers about it first and that I was going in there to call him out, so they shut this guy down and said he should have observed the line that was set up. Next thing, he's telling some bullshit story about how I should get thrown out, and that he didn't see the line. After calling him out again for having seen him read the sign for the line we were in and ignore it anyways, he starts flaring his bro feathers and telling me I should respect military servicemen and shit. He even wanted me to go into the theater and apologize to everyone for embarassing him and his wife! No fucking asshole deserves respect after being a douche after cutting off dozens of people knowingly and then trying to turn it around. Anyways, I give him the ole black-lady-talk-to-the-hand and make some comment about the big dually Ford he's probably got parked in a handicapped spot, and tell him to fuck off for being a dishonor to the military service and that I'm going in to watch the movie. I sit right behind him and his wife.

When this guy comes flexing back into the theater all purple in the face after bleeding his vagina some more on the useles management, the entire crowd starts owning this guy. 2 18 year old kids threatened him, women were throwing popcorn at him and calling him a short douche, etc. The guy doesn't move a muscle the entire 2 hours of the movie and he and his wife were slumped in their seats.

I run into him in the crowded bathroom after the movie. We're at the sink and he's got his head down but I give him one more "fuck off, you disrespect your fellow servicemen for your conduct tonight" and expect the shit to go to the parking lot, and he just stood in there until I left. Waited a solid 5 minutes for him. I guess he was washing out his vagina.

Crewcut cowboy 5'6" stocky taintlick motherfucker who thinks he's a fucking retired Navy SEAL war hero or some shit. Haven't felt a good rage like that in years.

It was so worth the $12.50.

I liked it.. ALOT.. im sure you picked out all the details like i did. they did a pretty good job.. i wont go into details for the people who havent seen it.. but if you want to nerd out Adam.. send me a text! i was so pumped after the movie.. ranted the whole way up north to my gf about it.

 

Great movie! As a true Alien fan, I like how they worked everything into the story.

 

agreed! there were a couple loose ends they left till the very end to tie up.. was glad they did.

 

Adam we need to go to the movies more often.

I'll have to go with someone to see this Prometheus. My wife isn't a fan of Aliens and she won't like this movie. I'm a huge aliens fan so I'm excited about this.

I have been on edge all damn day... waiting for a chance to go see Prometheus... I really, really, want to go see this movie. Not going to have time to do it tonight, too much family BS going on. Is anyone interested in seeing it tomorrow night at Tempe Marketplace?

Yup, preferably enough time to grab a quick grub after work or something, I usually get out at 18:20 and I work off Dobson/Ocotillo
