So went to Shumans to get an alignment. But he wasn't able to do it because the Diverside Wheel Bearing and inner tie rod are shot and WAY loose. He even let me go out there and watch him do it and show me the problem. Anyways He said "well I am not going to be able to align it with that because it just not going to hold but I will fix your toe so you can drive it a little easier to get your parts" Anyways he fixes the toe and stuff I go up to pay and said no charge since he didn't actually align it. WAY good people there. I will be going back and never back to Network because the guys there are assholes.

I have a wheel bearing new in the box already and will pick up the tie rod tomorrow. then to take it apart and press it out and then back in.

Awesome man. I'm going to have to take my truck to them. Network will never have my business.

Yup, Cool dude. It weird because the bearing felt super tight when I had the truck completely part so thats why I didn't replace that side like I did the passenger side.

Yeah the guys over there just bitch about everything and were rude last week so I left.

Yup. I actually got to be out there and watch to make sure things were professional and not just jerking me around.

tonight i noticed no matter what my ac is set to, hot air is blown on my legs. :( :(

on a side note, im looking for an arc welder. nothing fancy, harborfreight is fine for how much i use it. wont really be doing anything crazy, just little jobs here and there, fixing a metal chair, welding better bumper brackets to my frame, working on roomates jeep, etc etc. do i NEED a 225amp 240volt? or can i get by with a 70amp? is there not anything in between at harbor freight?!?!?!? im not really looking to spend more then 300 bucks. 240v would put out more power, but one of the jobs i have to do involves welding some chairs at a friends dunkin doughnuts, and to get paid in coffee and doughnuts, soooo they wont have accessible 240. guess i need a 120v? I have used a cheap wirefeed. ive used a very expensive miller wirefeed. i just come out with ugly worthless welds that get SOME penetration, but only as much as a wirefeed can. your input? ive done SOME arc welding, and when i take my time and dont stick the stick, i can do almost perfect puddles. but this was simply on two pieces of 1/8" steel stock i was bs'ing around on.

225amp 70amp: What about a compressor? this ill use alot. not really thinking a used iwll work. a used welder could be someones hobby that they never did though.

was looking at this: your opinions?

TL : DR I need an arc, i dislike wirefeed bs.

also need an aircompressor. not really looking to spend over 300 on either. so no more then 600 combined. thoughts?

Between the two, I'd go for the 225 amps. 70 amps is way to small to penetrate since i feel that welding between 125-150 amps is the sweet spot for good penetration and bead appearance. the only down side is that they seem to be AC only. DC will give you a smoother arc and and help avoid the electrode to stick while welding.

What kind of wire feed did you use that cant penetrate a chair? Wire feed is def costly though. If I were you I would look around craigslist and wait until a deal comes up. Lots of people buy the harbor freight ones and dont use them much as you said, then sell them cheap. If its not going to be used much then buying used wont hurt at all

    x2 on buying used.
I prefer MIG welders myself. They leave a cleaner bead, can weld thinner gauge material, a 110v welder would work for most projects and is easy to find some place to draw power from. It all depends on tuning in the voltage and wirefeed speed to the sweet spot.

Just a bunch of old crap
Sounds like your outside vent is sticking open and not closing off when you change to recirculating air. You'll have to tear the dash apart and clean the door that opens/closes.

I don't use the word Epic too often, but this is indeed, "EPIC"
