Lowes on Chandler Blvd has a bunch of hand tools on clearance right now. Most of them over 50% off. Had to leave so I didn't spend a couple hundred dollars there on more tools.

    I have this
    [IMG]

I need it cut into 4 sections and then one side needs to have a 'V' wedge put into it. I need these to use as spacers so I can put my wife's civic on a lift and change her motor mounts. Her body kit (side skirts) sit over an inch lower than stock so most lifts arms will crush the fiber glass when its lifted into the air. I can cut it with a grinder, not sure how to put the 'V' into it to make it stable and work.

Or if someone has a better plan I'm open to all suggestions.

    Edit:

Looking to have it something like this:

Hmmm that's quite a predicament, don't most car lifts have peg like spacers that serve the same purpose?

I can cut it shorter into 4 sections if you bring it over. as far as the V's I'm not sure on that besides cutting it and then placing angle iron in there and welding it.

making that grove will shorten one side of the block and make it cave in easier if you put weight on it. id notch the v at the top of the first picture so the block doesn't lose it integrity

What if you did some square under the V to support it?

Colby.. I can't add to your predicament.. but. But got the TC back from the dealer.. that stock pioneer sounds good as hell! I plugged in my phone and started tweaking the settings.. the speakers hit hard. Almost as hard as my set up.. and the fuckers bass was set at 0! Lol.

Gah the stock speakers in the Taco's are such garbage. I was going to put it off, but I might have to get new speakers pretty soon here.

I just don't want to spend money on the truck right meow because I am trying to save for a new rifle.

Arg. Never enough cash for all of my damn expensive hobbies.

I really want a Marlin 1895 in the 45-70. Not real sure about which set up, but that is the cal i decided I want. I love the lever style and want to do a pig hunt sometime in the near future with it.

However, I am also still looking for the right "pocket sized" 9mm.

    That's my thought.

The shops lifts don't jack up enough to cover the side skirts.

    @Josh,

Sweet man, I wanna hear it! :)

Yah, I have done a good bit of research and am going to buy used, as old as possible. I looked into the Rossi but have never handled/fired one. I would buy one of their45lc/454casull lever actions in a heartbeat if I could find one that isn't horribly overpriced. The only ones I have found thus far are on gunbroker.com, and are stupidly overpriced. Like, 800 for a used rifle that msrp at 450 Max.

Oh well. I will keep lookin.
