Who wants to give me a crash course on the Mossberg 500 or has a link to learn the basics on prices, ammo type and AZ laws.

Thats about the the usual price for one. Id definitely want to see pics and If it looks good, go look at it. Depending on the brand and style of "tactical" stock.. it could be real nice.

    Text sent btw

The price you linked in the other post isn't too bad at all.

Ammo, depends on what you are using it for. Home protection, 00buckshot is my choice.

Az laws, what do you need to know about them when it comes to guns?

    Edit:
I got this brand new for $350, mossburg cruiser.

I'm not ready to buy until i do some good research. :D

law wise, do i have to register it if i buy it cash? do i have to declare it if its on the truck when crossing border patrol check points down the freeway?

Edit: that shot gun looks very nice

You dont have to register It. A bill of sale is always recommended when buying from a private party.

And I'm not 100% but if your just going through border patrol in az.. you should be ok. I would let them know... But thats just me. I always let leo's know when there is a firearm in the vehicle.

As for cash, you can pay cash and like Josh said, get a bill of sale just to be safe. No need to register guns here. Az gun laws are very lean. Just the other day I bought a gun for my wife, ammo, clip draw, then got to the car, she loaded it and slipped it into her pants. The store ran her background check and that was that.

As long as your in Az you won't have issues with Boarder Patrol. Crossing the boarder's depending on what state you are going to might be an issue. Maybe call boarder patrol and ask but I don't see an issue since that's not something they should give a shit about. I've been stopped before while I was taking it out to go shooting and I just inform the cop that I have a gun, that its in a loaded state and its stored in this part of my car. He said thanks for informing him but didn't really care that I had one. Plus if you have it in a bag in the back seat they won't care one way or another.

On another note, Mossberg 500's are right up there with the Remington 870. Very reliable, durable and a relatively smooth action.

If you go to get it, check for pitting in the barrel, serious wear and tear on the finish of the gun. The previous owner may have been skeet shooting every weekend with the thing...

Not a bad day gentleman. Work up at like 9, Had NYPD Pizza for lunch picked up my dad, lost a caliper bolt driving down the road and found it in the road and put it back in inside a neighborhood. Continued to SDHQ to show man dad the shop. Which now I can see a full ICON setup on the FJ in the future. Bought a battery for the truck remote, had a IPA at Whole Foods with him dropped him off at the dealer now back home relaxing.

My brother designed this headbadge for my bike. I need to order it on the bike forum or buy some transfer paper and make it myself.
The full size high res photo is in the wrong format to upload here.
