    Got any tips on cutting it? I was just going to score it and hope for the best. The only part I think is going to really screw me up is that it has 2 rounded corners. Not sure how I'm going to score those.

    1st Gen TRD intake installed.

    1. It is a hell of a lot louder than the 2nd Gen during WOT
    2. Looks better :thumbsup:
    3. I have not got a CEL yet :)
    4. I still think the 2nd Gen had a bit more pickup according to my ass dyno.

    So the difference between the two:

    The maf is located closer to the air filter in the 1st gen
    The vacuum line is in front of the MAF on the 1st gen, on the 2nd Gen its past the MAF near the throttle body.
    Tubing is thinner on the 1st gen.

    I'm wondering if the issue is with the vacuum line being behind the MAF on the 2nd Gen?

    On my Torque app I'm showing that it isn't running lean vs. the 2nd Gen.

    Guess its time to sell that second gen. Funny thing, doesn't throw codes on my dads 08 or my mom's 05 Tacoma's. They both ran it for a month, no issues.. :notsure:
