Yup. I hate watching good trail runs go by the screen while I sit and rot in the Mojave.

Ah.. Yeah I'm always down for meets. I wonder if I still have access to the cabin up there that my buddy used to own. I know he was trying to sell it but never got any offers.. Not sure if it sold but I'll check with him. It's a 4 bedroom cabin so plenty of space :)

Dude that would be tits if you still had access to it. Doing some trails up there would push me to get the 88 done but would be so worth it.

I've always taken my 3rds to 4wheelers supply on 36th st and Washington. They charged $250 for labor if you brought them everything. Never had an issue with the gears being set up from them. In the past I had always used precision gears and rebuild kits

Outstanding gear/rebuild kits. Is that $250 just to set up the third member or take it out for you and inspect?

I have spent very little time in Sedona. I would love to go up there and explore! That place is amazing! I can;t imaging what sort of cool trails are hidden up there.

All of sedona trails are very well mapped. It's a really fun place. Nothing really hardcore so 4x4 tacos can do all of the trails unless you suck at driving. There even a few that are prerunner friendly.

 I was talking with my GF about this the other day. I don;t mind visiting for short periods, but I F'in hate the "hippie" vibe some places give off. Like Flag, or Boulder CO. Gets my hackles up.

    I'm just sayin...

If you like NM so much move back. I've lived in many states and ended back up in Phoenix because it's so diverse. But that's just me.

This was a couple years ago so prices could be different now, but that was me bringing them the gears, install kit, and 3rd. IIRC it was another $250 each 3rd if you just brought the whole truck down and let them do all the labor. (remove the 3rds for you lol)

$250 to set up just a third isn't horrible but most going rates (considering your's was a ways back) are in the ball park of $130-$185. In my unfortunate experience with re-gearings on the parts side you have to go with time proven companies (Yukon, G2, Superior, Precision). If any technician ever says you get what you pay for when it comes to setting up a ring and pinion they should re evaluate what the do for a living.
