Idk.. the more I think about It I guess I can run a permanent one. I liked the idea of being able to use it outside of the truck. Like hiking or something. But the range would kinda of defeat the purpose. I'll probably just go with a cobra 75 and hide it. I don't want it to be seen.

 

That sounds perfect. Lol. Was thinking of a quick disconnect and leave it under the rear seats when I'm not using it. You don't have to re tune it everytime you disconnect it right? Cuz i would probably only putty antenna up when I'm wheeling or driving long distances.

 

Just do the 75 and have it hidden. and no you don't have to retune it everytime. Its like you don't even have one with the antana off

I ordered me a couple things today too

 

Yeah the line was shit canned for sure. After we got it back to the beach I was suprised that it didn't pop the line because the hook had set in the very corner of its mouth and when it was thrashing the line was rubbing up against it's bill. When I finally got the hook out of it's mouth the line was already starting to fray, it was like someone took 100 grit sand paper to the line..

 

I would be down for a Sunday mod day. Not sure on the time yet though. I will still have fam in town.
