For almost $30k and not being able to take it in the desert I would have a car too. Thats why I bought a $10k 1st gen. The best would be to trade your truck for something you like driving on the street and get an off road toy on the side

 

i was hinting more towards the he should spend the money on his truck instead of it all on his GF or her car haha unless she drives a tacoma like u!

ya alot of my friends are into tuners and fast cars, i like them too and know how the whole tuner scene, but i think its because they drive on the street 99% of the time and dont know how BA it is to cruise out in the desert with a truck!

idk today i heard it was still closed?! heard it should be open like this weekend or maybe later this week? but

 

If its not open, don't sweat it, keep heading north on the 87 just go about ten or so miles, past the bush hwy exit and you will start to see roads you can turn off to the right, there are dirt roads, washes, and campsites all back there, it makes for way cooler exploring than sycamore, should be all 2wd as well.

 

I still wish nofords sold me his Bilstein 5100's. It was a great deal for me

fourpeeks area? four peeks trail would be shut down if syc is. it was last time, and i took my truck from the fourpeeks dirt parking lot at the bottom all the way to butcher jones and to the cove. its a bad ass trail! but DOD DAMM i felt bad after jumping/ beating the hell out of my truck theres alot of sections where the whoops were mellow and u haul ass, then u have like no time to slow down for the huge ass ones that are hiding so i went a little to fast at times but im amazed with how my truck did

I broke a shock in half the first time I went off road. The blue part was cut with a razor blade and you can see it blew the cap out of the center and the shaft is a little crooked
