I also have the Steering wheel controls adapter.

I will just bring ALL THE WIRE THINGS over and we can figure out what I will need to leave with you.

Colby, got a stereo question for you. A friend of mine wants to get a new deck to replace the one that she currently has because it is crapping out. Would installing the new one be as simple as unplugging the harness from the old Pioneer deck and plugging it into the new Pioneer deck? Or do you think that it is possible that Pioneer has changed the harnesses?

Ok sounds good. Most likely you will still need a bypass if you want to watch DVD's while in motion.. I'll find out.

Most the decks change the plug ever new line. So unless she got the line of cd player odds are it won't fit up correctly.

HOWEVER. The color of the wires will not change. So you can just unplug the old one, cut them and match up the colors.

If you want I can help out with that.

We might take you up on that offer if I can't seem to figure it out. Gotta wait until she gets the new deck anyways lol

No problem. I can put together the harness for you in about 20-30min and make it plug and play. She can get a different brand if she likes, it won't make a difference for wiring.

I love pioneer for HU's. Alpine is the only other one I will run out of the name brands.

But yeah, have her get a new deck and either bring me the car or the old harnesses and I'll wire them up.

I think everyone on here accepts beer as payment for services haha

What kind of beer do you like so we know what to bring to you?

This is a good point you have.

My default beer is Kilt-lifter and if they don't have that, Heineken. We'll worry about that later.

Do you have a time frame of when she wants to do this?

I have absolutely no clue, depends when she buys the deck. Where are you located?

Speaking of Kilt-Lifter, did you ever find out if the waitresses at the Tilted Kilt wear shorts under their skirts?

    Chandler.

    Just saw your edit.

I asked when I went to pee vs. lifting it up a skit and getting slapped. The waitress I asked (the ones who's tits were popping out due to padding) said that most wear 'bloomers' but wasn't required.

I asked what the fuck a bloomer was and she walked off.
