What do you guys think of short course tires? Keep seeing these for sale but wonder if they ride like ass on the street?

I say go for it!

 

They are really soft. So wear is quick on them. Since they come as semi blanks and someone has to grove them by hand the tread can very from tire to tire and each team has a patteren they like. Also they wouldn't be DOT approved so if you for some reason have a blowout (pretty unlikely) insurance would try to screw you. All that being said people do run them on the road.

Has anyone tried making retro headlights? I think they look sick. If anyone can tell me how hard it is, and what I need, I might do it.

 

me moose and kyouto have them, morimotos are the easiest, still not that simple of a task, I'm about to tackle some fx-r stage 4's though

 

How much is the cost? From 1/10 how hard would you say the install is?

you can do morimotos for under 3-400 and i think fxr's are over 5 said and done, keep an eye on group buys for like 25% off and it takes a lot of time and patience, not physically a hard task but you need to know what your doing. heres mine i could possibly lend a hand
