    Does anyone with a aFe stage 2si use the pro dry filter? I just ordered one and was wondering if there is any noticible difference from the oiled pro 5r as far as airflow or filtering properties.

    I use the pro guard 7 oil filter, with a pre-filter over it. Then again, my truck does see a fair amount of dirt and off-road abuse so I opt'd for maximum protection.

    The AFE Pro Dry drop in filter I had let in a ton of dirt through it (evident since, you could wipe your finger on the "clean" side and it'd be dirty as hell).

    Cool, I've had the CAI with a pro5r on it about two years and got tired of cleaning the filter so I thought I'd try the pro dry. Do you happen to know the part number for the pre-filter? I tried looking for it but can't find which one fits the stage 2si filters.

    I don't think that will fix it. Every morning I start up my truck and drive off when its cold I hear like a rattling/ grinding noise pretty much were the cats are. I told my dad I was 100% it's the cats, and he didn't believe me, as I was saying I feel like it isn't clogged, but more like falling apart from the inside. It has been doing this for a while and the CEL just came back on after about 1.5 months ago.
