    marlin crawler clutch kit installed!

10month old timken wheel bearing detonated, lost two seals (100 bucks from toyota), entire spindle is heat treated (replaced), hub is STUCK, so got a new spindle, new seals, new bearing thanks to warranty from vatozone, abs line is a melted sticky mess, so im just covering that hole, abs is messed up though.

marlin clutch kit, disc/pressure/release/pilot/flywheel, so much better! old flywheel and yaer old pressure plate were heat cracked :(

master cylinder is stuck for the front wheels, super slow release, fast press though. ordered new one.

cleaned air filter, tranny, and tcase while they were out.

used a 93 cummins 4x4 as a press, toyota wanted 140 bucks to use the press on the spindle, with it removed, and the 6ton the neighbor had couldnt do it. so we used the truck, and a hammer, and alot of wd, works great :D

also, now i have climate control lights on my dash!

    such a long weekend, ugh.

Lol this thing is pretty awesome. Only gripe so far is how it organizes media in the gallery. I'm used to HTC's sense ui.. Where it has just "pictures" and "videos". Wish I could I figure that out..

im not far behind, engine, and rebuild all cases (tranny, tcase, and diffs) and i will. brian has my new engine, and a sas is not to far out.

the 1200lb is great so far, only one they offer. i did the 600 dollar toyota oem replacement a year ago, but mechanic neglected to resurface flywheel, he was a buddy and paid half price, so 1200 bucks for parts.

or 330 from marlin, with shifter boot, and a 1200lb over 900 lb, great option, while tranny is out, great time to clean everything, change steering rack bushings, service driveshafts, check master/slave cylinder for clutch, etc etc.
    install was easy enough.

ive now worked on in my opinion 90% of this truck, ive not opened any cases or engine yet, but done just about everything else :(

sas is a real option. buddy can do it, its about me getting the axle, and other misc parts, dont know if i want a rockjock, or a d44 waggy, im leaning towards rockjock so i can keep a third member, and elocker.

ive also been looking at 4bt's....

Yeah I'm buying the whole clutch assembly$250 and then I'm buying a brand new flywheel $120. And I'll be installing myself. Does that price sound about right?

    nope.

both 2.4/2.7/3.4 are 300 bucks, from marlin http://www.marlincrawler.com/clutch/heavy-duty/heavy-duty-clutch-kit-1200-lb

as for a flywheel, neither marlin or centerforce carry a flywheel for my 3.4 that i could see, but needed one quick so opted for autozone, but was shipped from PA. Same as my new Master Cylinder id imagine.

could look into toyota :( are you still on that chattery release bearing?

Marlin makes a flywheel for the 2.7. Yeah I'm still driving on it, so I'm gonna do everything at once and I'm trying to get everything i need and priced out so I can pull the trigger

Every morning I leave for school pulling out of my drive way when I go down the curb at full lock to the left, I hear a loud poping sound. Does anyone know what it is?

Motorola blur (Razor) vs. TouchWiz (S3).

    Touchwiz FTW.

    Touchwiz vs. HTC Sense.

    AOSP vs All of those

    AOSP FTW!!!

Blur is just odd to me. It doesn't seem to 'flow' well. Touchwiz isn't bad, but seem's unfinished. Sense is awesome but eats battery life and ram. AOSP is great but has no 'flair' to it. But if you want the best battery life possible, ASOP is the way to to go.

Hardware wise the Razor MaxxHD is good. It's just that damn blur that keeps me away from Motorola phones.
