I've fixed, idk, 40 Xbox 360's now. I can also fix PS3's YLOD (Yellow light of death) PS3 bluray lazer death, iPods not giving out sound in ear buds (hit or miss with these).

So,

If its 3 rings, yes. if its 2 rings (led 1/3) its 50/50 chance. I've had 3 of them come in with 2 Led's and 2 worked, 3rd one works for 10min then goes back.

3 rings means the CPU/GPU is unseated from the board.. It's an easy fix.

2 rings means the GPU/CPU can't cool down. It's totally hit or miss with these.

LOL, thanks man.. I'm no guru, but I am pretty damn good at fixing electronics. It comes from being a cheap bastard and not wanting to pay to get things fixed. That and my wife breaks EVERYTHING she touches.

Oh yeah, if they popped out they can be a major pain in the arse to get back in.

 

Soooo just got my piaa bulbs in.. Aaaand it only came with one.. So I'm waiting on a reply from the seller.. I said "I was under the assumption it was a pair.. I wouldn't have paid this price for one". Guess we'll see what happens.
