Coming from a world where the most clearance I had was 1 3/4 inch MAX, I'll stay up in the air until I get my 4x4 to play with. I don't miss getting stuck on speed bumps.

I'm saving up for one. Not sure what yet, but guessing if I save up about 10-15k that should get me started in the right direction.

On a side note, just got my Brother a 3TB external for him to take back to New Zealand. It just got done copying all the data, 2.37TB's of stuff for him to go through :)

Hmm if I were you (which i know im totally not) I would just by a 3rd gen pickup for like 3500 and then axle swap it, throw doublers in, arbs front and rear, winch, etc...

    Do it!

Pretty close to what I'm thinking, but I want a First Gen Tacoma if I get a Toyota line of trucks. If not that, then a 4Runner.

    SAS is a must
I have no clue what doublers are lol

I plan on doing it! I'm only at $1,700 right now. I keep putting money in my Tacoma and the money I have saved, I want to buy these with it SOOOOOOO BAD. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_091165WRC/Focal-Utopia-Be-165W-RC.html

Duel transfer cases!! Which gives you lower crawling gears, I wanted those on my old pickup but never happened. Oh well, we can do it on yours now
SAS on a taco is much much more pricey than on a pickup so thats why I suggested pickup, but as long as its a toyota.... thats all that matters :D

Edit: and with duel transfer cases you have two extra sticks in the tcase, so 4

Colby you wouldn't want to do a nice coil over set up set at the lowest setting for a smooth as butter ride?

    No thanks.

    1. I'm not a fan of 'smooth butter rides'.
    2. I really want to keep stock parts in, spacers are an add-on. (*Still debating/researching)
    3. I have no 3rd point. :)

1.) that may have not been the correct term
2.) a fox, king,or icon coil over is no different than replacing the factory strut with a 5100 strut and OME coil
3.) idk should we high five here? :)

    1. This could get interesting real fast.
    2. I know nothing about aftermarket truck stuff. I know dealers like to screw with people on warranty stuff. So if I have to wait 7 years till I fix this dragster rake, no sweat of my balls.
    3. Total high five!

Hahah yah, I can't figure out how currents travel and all the stuff for wiring. I just cut stuff up and weld it together :p

Thanks. I remember that next time. I got stuck for a while because I couldn't figure out why there was power going into the light, but it wasn't completing a circuit. Turned out a connector on the ground wire melted or something, so I just had to replace it. Also didn't realize the relay needs a separate circuit for the on/off switch to trigger the electro magnet....but now I know!

Since I used an OEM fog light switch and some of the stock wiring I had to figure out what the wires and pins on the switch did, which took a while.
