Polo towers usually has pretty good deals on Expedia and do offer a gov discount. It's off the strip by like maybe an 1/8 of a mile but it's centrally located on the strip. Quick drunk walk to the MGM or you could watermelon crawl pretty easily to Planet Hollywood. Monte Carlo right across the strip. Has a roof top pool you can look down on the strip from. The suites got a full kitchen, so you can cook up some breakfast or a hangover lunch if you wanna save cash. Only down fall is that it doesn't have a casino or a bar, which could be a good or a bad thing but it's super close to everything. We've stayed there many times and never been disappointed.

Seen that you ended up booking an AirBNB. Polo towers review for anyone else contemplating vegas in the future.

They decide to scrap the Monte Carlo and are headed down today to pick something up in the 5-7.5k range.

Might try and tackle some more maintenance on the truck this weekend. Wheeling does sound more fun tho.. but I don't really want to run those again this..

 

Tropicana is normally pretty cheap. Nothing super fancy but still a decent place, and with it being at the start or end of the strip however you seen it, it's a nice way to start the walk and then head back to end it with not missing anywhere.

Make sure you hit up the peppermill for a 10 egg omelet while your on the strip, its down towards the end by the circle k and where they rent the expensive cars for 1 minutes or whatever.
