True story. The lady and I took her 4Runner out with a couple of my uncles and their Jeeps yesterday. Ended up doing almost 100 dirt miles from Jakes corner to Young and back to Pumpkin center. For only her third time really taking the truck off-road she did awesome and I didn't have to drive so that meant more time for :drunk:. Mapped most of it and would make a great 2 or 3 day trip. We left the house at 630 and didn't get home till a little after midnight.

Tldr: where do I point my light bar?

I really enjoy the AZ threads but the third gens threads suck. Ask about the transmission, no less thsb6 pages of replies. Ask a quartile after searching, I get one reply.

    Can anyone advise?
I was looking for proper alignment of the lows, highs, fogs, and light bars but not quite finding it. Is there a proper alignment or just personal preference?

My lighting is stock but I will probably be changing that and will set to factory alignment or as close as I can.

Mainly trying to figure out the bumper area stealth light bar I added.

In hindsight, maybe I asked a dumb question. Any one know why my transmission seems to shift so much?

Here is a link to a PDF on headlight adjustment , it's for 1st gen, but on page two is the science for adjustment.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/attachments/be-19_headlight_adjust-pdf.126991/

    No clue on fogs.

    Lights bars are personal preferences.

I don't know much about the 3rd gens, but I hear this asked a lot, have you checked the transmission fluid level. Apparently they come low from the factory and can cause all sorts of shifting issues.

    HEY!

If you start helping out the 3rd gens, they'll all flock here and then it'll be on your head!

For fogs, I usually say get about 15-25ft from a wall and then aim the top of the cutoff exactly in the middle of your headlight cutoff and the ground.
