    So can A/T tires flat spot out here in Phx when it gets cool overnight? I have this intermittent vibration that's driving me batshit and I hadn't even considered flat spotting yet. :annoyed:

    I have balanced the tires (many times), checked alignment, installed carrier bearing spacers, eliminated rotors as an issue (doesn't happen under braking), and my truck has 8k on it so it's not old and worn tie rods...

    Every now and then though I notice a vibration at 65-ish. Jiggles the steering wheel, and does not behave like off balance tires in that it always happens at a given speed. Sometimes 65 is smooth as glass, other times no.

    Squeaky clean. It's been persistent through many washings. I'm talking same trip same road, 65 mph shimmy vs no 65 mph shimmy.

    Sometimes I get on the 101 and it's jiggly, a few miles down 101 it's gone.

    done, all 85 lb/ft nice and snug. That was one of my first steps to troubleshoot.

    but if they fell off wouldn't i just constantly have the shimmy at 65?

    It seems like maybe that's it?!?! I'll have to go drive around again and note where I feel the vibration versus not. Lane changes don't alter it for sure, so either the whole road is rippled or that's not it either.
