Looking a little less jacked up by this evening. Ran out of gas and almost out of wire.

And anyone up for the expo that wants to take a stroll through the cinders on Sunday let me know. It's basically in my back yard

I already was peeling from too much time in the pool. But I did remember sunscreen. The worst is when you think the clouds will protect you and it is actually worse for you. All the free beer at expo! Paid for my ticket for sure. I have already convinced the wifey that we need to camp and do the whole weekend next year.

Yeah usually I'm pretty good about this stuff, and I know clouds don't help you. It gets you wierd-ass looks (at least in PA it does) but sometimes I'll carry an umbrella... portable shade, keeps you cooler, and is SPF 90000 but only on the parts you can keep in the shade. The burn has definitely faded this morning but it's still pretty angry.

Sadly I couldn't partake of the free beer, I was only there for a few hours and I have to be very careful with booze b/c this medication I'm on has the side effect of making me the cheapest date in the world. Sink 1 beer / 1 mixed drink and I'm not wasted, but I'm comfortably fuzzy.:kona: I guess I can't complain too much, it makes a six pack go a looooong way.

I made it up with swag though.:spy:

I got some nice swag too, also dropped some coin on a Canyon Cool and some cool bungee cords. And some craft rum in a cool flask.

Nothing wrong with being a cheap date.

We made it back home about 1030 last night.

Could always unhook and drop the trailer at my place while we go play. There's literally a back entrance to the cinders 100yards from my house. I'll just need to drive slow since my back bumper isn't quite solid yet

@mh.meier & @snowtank good seeing y'all today at the expo. Thanks for the beer! Mike, sorry I didn't recognize you with the glasses at first, threw me off and I was like "who's giving me this bro hug???":rofl:good seeing y'all. Also, realized later that I didn't introduce myself to whoever was with Andrew, felt like a dick for that too! Didn't run into anyone else, but didn't stay forever. Saw @Techoma's rig, but never saw him walking around.

Stopped for pie at that place a little north of anthem, it was delicious. Got home and got the house back under contract to a cash buyer, so def stoked tonight!

Oh, I almost picked up a Canyon Cooler. I wanted the 55 real bad, but Desert Rat didn't have any 55s. But they gave me a written price of 250$ if I stopped by one of their stores. Then I found the Canyon Cooler booth, and I asked if they would beat that price. The girl acted all confused and said ya, we let them sell for what they want, thats O.K. She was asking 270$ I was very confused by her response, and she managed to not make a cooler sale.
    I bought a Dometic 65 instead. :notsure:

Ahhh I hate that. When you ask someone something and they clearly misunderstood and you don't want to be a dickhead but you're like "ummmm, it was pretty clear I was asking YOU to beat that price..."

I picked up a Pelfrey mid skid and CBI ditch light brackets. Both had really nice show only deals I couldn't pass up. Now I just gotta pick ditch lights for the brackets!

I'm trying to decide if I should spray my mid skid to (sort of) match my powdercoated IFS skid, or pick a crazy color for silliness sake. Also where to spray it... my HOA would go ballistic if they saw me do that shit here in my complex, and I don't know if there's any people going to get bent out of shape if I just start rattle canning in a parking lot.:p
