Did he not hook it up properly or did it fail mechanically?

Well anything involving a criminal investigation is obviously a legal issue. Most the time I don't post simply out of professional courtesy.

Not sure. He claims someone pulled the pin on him at the rest area and when he tried to leave it gave way. Truck was a brand new 2017 so I doubt it was a failure.

Looks like you'll get that rain buddy. It's already overcast and that typically means a good chance for moisture.

My house got hit pretty hard last night on the far east side.

Standing water means im about to get destroyed by skeeters over the next few days on the morning walk.

Hate skeeters, im like a big fat blood bag to them.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
Sorry for bugging y'all in here, but id rather not post in main forums with basic questions....

Looking to get a lift, and am torn over just rocking OME coils and 5100s or c/os. I see most c/o "kits" have the option for standard length or extended. Any problems I f I purchase the extended length, or anything to be aware of? Do I need new / longer brake lines? I know I'll need UCAs with those. Anyone have preference between Camburg and TC?

Also, Dakars are pretty much the best bet for rear leafs if I'm looking for a whole pack, correct? Camp a lot, and will have a RTT up there, so weight wise seems like the better option than just an AAL.

    Thanks.

Normal coils will be fine with stock parts, extended will add a little more travel over other coils, with this it's a better option to be paired with new uca if your going to utilize all the lift potential of the new setup. Brake lines won't have to be upgraded unless you again are going to use the full potential of your lift of 2.5-3in, it would be beneficial though just to do them for peace of mind while your in there working anyways on a new setup.

If you go with extended length you will want a UCA to handle the extra droop. If you have the money I say go with a coilover. With an RTT and gear it is better to get a whole pack. The Dakars with the overload are good. I know other people have went with the Expedition Pack from AllPro. No preference on the UCA. I was able to find a good deal on someone who was selling a used Camburg, so that is what I went with.
