@XPOTRPR @AZeyeTIE or anyone for that matter i have the truck and a trailer and can be ready to leave pretty much whenever. Can bring things like bottled water etc. As well. Just give a shout.....might even be able to gather a horse trailer as well.

we've had a couple scares in the past, so yeah.. back behind Mayer is kept up on, luckily.

thats what I read/heard as well. Pine Flats was ground zero.

no problem man. let us know how it goes up there. My friends family is on the west side of 69 in Dewey.. they were evacuated already. stay safe brotha.

appreciate man! I'll keep in touch. Spring Valley should be ok, unless they have some major wind change. Dewey and Poland are the big ones.

Yeah, not looking great for my friends right now. They back up to some wide open space, so nothing really acting as a buffer for them.

I heard the finger of fire that jumped 69 is being contained. Hope that proves to be true and 69 continues to act as a barrier to westward expansion.

Right on! Thanks Justin. Many thanks for the offer. I am afraid that all of the main routes to our area will be closed by the time we have to bounce. We will just load up computers, pets, guns and ammo and some water and food if we have to leave.

I sent my mom into Prescott to meet my dad who is at dialysis over there and told her to get a hotel room for the night. If they close 69 down towards Prescott, pops will be on an island and I don't want an 82 year old who is already not in the best health to be stranded.... My folks live 5 doors down.

The wife and I are also house-sitting and watching our neighbor's cats. Could be a fun round-up if we have to bounce. If we have to go, we'll notify here.

Not sure if it was you but we had a silver dcsb coming rolling through the forest east of our site about 10am Sunday morning as we were packing up. No bestop but had a bedrock that would have supported one.

Thanks everyone for the recommendation on FR300 last weekend. Found a non-numbered rd halfway between bear canyon and woods canyon lakes that we took back; great site just before the horseshoe turnaround. The best part was seeing the masses crowded into the packed campgrounds literally tripping over one another.

    Cheers!

    fingers crossed man...

yeah, they mentioned they hope to contain that section that jumped today/tomorrow, and that it should be easier than the rest. Hopefully, because there are a couple big ranches out that way.

Yup, just got off the phone with my buddy. He was forced out about 2 hours ago and now another buddy is scrambling to get things together because i guess the fire is just about a mile from his house too. Definitely not sounding good. But, the first buddy was prepared and packed up last night.

    Nah, wasn't me.

Didn't get up there til later and got rained the fuck out pretty bad when that big storm hit later around 5.

We were right along the West side of Bear Canyon Lake when it got hit hard. Huge rain drops, hail, thunder, lightning, winds... the whole business. Everything became a mud pit and we never even tried to unload the truck. Total bust.

    Nice temps, though!20170625_162220.jpg
