    I understand that. I had a CRX that was gutted, never ran AC on the first 4 cars I had to save weight as well. I wouldn't sound deaden if you are trying to save weight.

    :annoyed::frusty:
    Almost 6 months chasing down this job, back and forth, phone interviews, email chains, real interviews, and I get the good old automated "thanks, but fuck off" email today. If it was because they misspelled my name / email on a request for another interview I'm going to shit myself. It happened for the first in-person interview and I only found out via frantically tracking down the recruiter.:crapstorm:

    I hate to shit up the BS thread but I could really use some help now,
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/az-what-i-do.478399/page-2#post-15493381
    even just adding me on LinkedIn could help, if you'd be willing to talk to connections I might find at a potential employer... here

    2wd? Yes. Get it hot, park. Oil pan. 24mm socket, take out fill plug so it can breath, 24mm socked, take out drain plug. Drain. Clean magnets on plugs. Replace drain plug. Fill until oil trickles out through the fill plug. Replace fill plug. Drive a mile or two. Remove fill plug. Put in oil until it trickles out again. Replace fill plug. Beer.

    Awesome, that's what I figured, but after seeing he issues Tacomas have with simple things like extended brake lines, wanted to make sure.

    I hear ya. Don't over think the fluid level. Few ounces either way won't make a difference. You drive it just to get the oil to flow into the axle tubes.

    Took the wife's new Camaro to the dealership (Van Chevy) today for wind noise @60-70mph and a service. Tech said he drove it and couldn't hear any noise.o_O The odometer hadn't changed 1 mile since I dropped it off.
    :mad: Also tried to sell me a new air filter. o_O Mine was supposable dirty. Hmmm that's funny I just put a new one in on Sunday. 5 days ago!:rant: Needless to say, Service manager and I had a little chat. :rant::rant:

    So what sort of life are you expected to get of wiper blades here in the valley??

    In PA you'd get about a year and a half out of 'em before they started to make farting noises when wiping...

    ... but then again in PA it actually rained. :rofl:

    Year to three depends on how often it sits in the direct sun.
