I read that you did. What's SDHQ's price? Then add tax.

OEM racks new are under $300.

I've been looking at the prinsu through CBI or just getting the C4 bedrack for around the same price, for the same reason. Just haven't found any kayaks I want to buy just yet :D

I'm sure they are sticking with msrp on this. So what you save is shipping.. And not having to wait once they have them in stock, which could be as soon as next week.

Had a anti-photo cover on my license plate at least the past 10 years. It saved my butt a dozen times or more when Arizona was crawling with photo speed traps. These speed traps have pretty much disappeared, so no need for the anti-photo license plate cover anymore. And as of yesterday a batch of new Arizona laws went into effect including one that says you can't use any sort of license plate cover at all.

So I took mine off and trashed it. Didn't want a highway patrolman or sheriff's deputy to pull me over thinking he'd make an example of me! The license plate cover served its purpose for many years, saving me a lot of grief. But that was then and this is now - so 'goodbye old faded worn out friend, you were the best!'

What if you only have one vehicle and you want to be able to use it for multiple things? If you need to haul stuff with your truck you can just remove the rack and RTT fairly easily compared to the other option you have listed.

Don't be bitter that a 5' bed would feel like a presidential suite for you... not all of us would have a foot of room at our feet

    Workin' on it....
I'm in the DCSB camp. I like having a bed to throw dirty stuff or dirty dogs in without the cabin getting gross. If I didn't have any pets I'd go T4R all day long. As far as trucks go I wanted a double cab to haul family members around once in a while in more comfort than an access cab and didn't want a trail limo DCLB.

What about that platform in the picture that is under the mattress? Sometimes it is helpful to have the height of the full bed wall for what you are hauling.

the ability to haul shit in the bed when I'm not camping as my RTT is ONLY on for trips, unlike these EAF bros who leave them on all the time. the campershell that came with my crawler has a rise, which means I wouldn't be able to fit in my work garage. also it's hot as fawk here, and the RTT breathes fairly well

5" bed is tiny, no doubt. Im 6'2, fat and no way I could sleep in that shit with the tailgate up. I have that sport tent from John that I may put to use in a few weeks which has the tailgate down. Im not sure I want to empty my bed to use that though.
Im still considering a quick pop up tent and Gaia would love a pod trailer someday.

Still though, I love my DCSB. Its gorgeous.
