Sorry, didn't know. It is just soooo entertaining to read through the 3rd gen threads and since I'm and asshole and all and have been drinking, I like to pick on people.

No biggie man. I've seen the threads about them too. It's cool & all but I feel it takes away from the driver.

Well it sounds like you're in the right place. I started out with a stock truck until I came here. And in the last 6 months I've spent $12k making the jump to long travel. If your wallet is thin, I suggest deleting your account and saving your money. If it's fat, then welcome aboard cause it won't stay that way for long

Yea yea yea, it is a feature that gets people to spend more money to never use it. I have switched to trick the truck into behaving the way I want it to so that I am the final input, and any good driver has no need for that electronic nonsense.

Thank you. It makes the truck nicer to daily drive, but as soon as I hit dirt, any time I hit dirt, I stop and start flipping switches so the truck doesn't decide to start thinking on its own. If I'm gonna get sideways and throw the truck into a tree I want it to be my fault (almost happened last night:anonymous:

Meh that's usually the plan. I wish I still had the pic of my stock skid when I finally pulled it out and made my first set. Looked like a crushed beer can

Any interest in a big meet? Something like a sycamore bin fire or something? Mid December? Worth making a thread for?

1st or second weekend in December and I'd make an honest effort to make it down for something like this. Finally meet a bunch of you valley peeps

That’s what I was thinking. Do like Saturday December 16th. Everyone can camp for the night if they would like. Big fire and shit. Sycamore will be fun for everyone. Maybe 4 peaks or something else but something not too cold.

I think first weekend is lighted christmas parade and cutting down a tree. My wife is out of town for the 2nd weekend. I suggest January, post holidays. Some folks may even have new toys to show off.

Make it happen and post it up in the other az meets and trail runs thread. Sooner it comes to reality the better chance I have of making it.

May be best to plan it out like that. It would be great to have everyone there. Would be even cooler if everyone camped for the night!

I support you and think this is a great idea. For people with families (not just kids) Oct 31st - Jan 1st is a hard time to do much. Company parties, family parties, friend's parties, and of course the actual holidays. January is recovery month, folks are more able to plan a camp out during that time. Plus, many of them are eager to play with new toys they got over the holidays (presents, black friday deals, etc.).

Pick a date and make a post.

Good points. I has no babies so I has none of these things. Let me storm up the best location and I will make a list with a poll for the best date.
