End of January worked great for everyone last year it seemed.... Something like 78 trucks showed up....this gives those with new toys time to install new toys to show off at the meet.

1st gen talk. When you guys have done the LCA bushings, how much of a nightmare was it? I have a 50 ton hydraulic press in my garage that im sure will be helpful...

Rockauto has loaded control arms from moog, my stock bushings lasted 122k, do i really NEED the fancy ones that people are burning the old ones out, saving the sleeve etc? Truck is only driven to wheel anymore really, and to the parts store/home depot type store... Maybe 5k miles a year max. Am I over looking anything...?

It is an absolute suck. It took me a ton of time to re-use the sleeve and washer. If I were to do it again I would probably use the Whiteline bushings that you can get. Actually @Speedytech7 had some that he offered for sale in a post not too long ago. And he is now an AZ resident. I would see if he still has them and go that route.

Or if it just a wheeling truck sounds like it is a good time to put a solid axle under that thing.

How tough would it be with fresh hardware and loaded control arms? Only half a suck? What bushings did you wind up with?

I really would love a solid axle, but changing jobs to the new gig, im hesitant to start such a huge project without some time in there..... And these moving around/clunking drive me nuts.... And I just bought some fresh tires, so if I can just make it all work for a bit....

If you had fresh hardware and arms that already had bushings it wouldn't be that bad at all. I used the Energy Suspension poly bushings.

Yeah i didnt think so... Just checking.... The control arms with fresh bushings are pretty cheap compared to the headaches I read about I think.

I know people who have done 20 years working night shifts and they swear by it. I've tried it twice for like 6 months each time and it felt like it was hard on the body for some reason.

At los favs grabbing some breakfast, in comes this blonde chick that must of had a rough night out, places her order with the worst vocal fry valley girl sound ever.

Then as I'm typing this she ask to sit in my booth next to me, now I'm awkwardly waiting for my food as I type this about her.

Yah when she asked me to sit down I was contemplating asking if she was going to talk to me, and if she thought that meant I wanted her too, when she replied with a yes, I was going to say, then no. But even that was more conversation then I wanted with her.

I worked nights for 3 years.and the most recent girl I was seeing did nights too. I did the switch back and forth. One of the big things you'll notice by doing that is you will loose track of days. So you will need to use your calendar. Also you will stop eating. You're never hungry and might eat like once a day. If you get a good schedule setup and stick to it you'll feel a lot better and make sure to drink lots of water.

Feels so damn good working during the day
