Amen brother. I lost a good friend of mine to that and it still messes with me to this day. Even if you don't think you can make a difference, just be there for people, and listen to them. A random act of kindness has talked someone down from the edge more times than we will ever know.

And on the political side, if you think gun violence is an issue, let's look at people dying from guns. In America if you die, and the discharge of a firearm was the cause? It's an almost 2 out of 3 chance the shooter was you.
Isn't it reasonable to tackle the 60% (more depending on year) of deaths, before the 0.1% of deaths?

On a more positive note I finally started to nail down my vinyl design better. I was just kinda spinning my wheels with no real good ideas, and I finally have started to nail down something that is retro enough to feel the "Toyota Pickup" days without looking hokey on a 3rd gen.

Looking at little refinements here and there, but big question: one color, or three?

I like the placement but not big on the colors myself, I'm partial to the original color scheme though..

I get it, make it your own. From the two, I prefer the second one.

That stock photo isn't doing your truck any favors though. You have Stealth F5's, right?

Very true Rob. One for every year that my son has been in highschool . Unfortunately that last one was my sons best friend his sophmor year. No note no reason no nothing. It was a hard time for my son and a difficult time for my wife and I . Keep the kids of social media as long as you can and stay involved in their lives . One house rule that we had and still do is no tv radio or phones wile at the dinner table . We sit and talk to each other about our day . I can't tell you how many times we would finish dinner and still sit there chatting it up.
Here is something that my dad told me. "if you make them cry when they are little they won't make you cry when you are old" . It worked for him and it worked for me.

Yeah, I've also been tossing around the idea of a set of OZ Rally wheels even though it means I would need spacer adapters to go to 5 lug... o_O

(I know those aren't F5's but it was easy to steal the graphic off Tire rack and make them look close...:spy:)

I just thoroughly dislike 99% of wheels available for Tacos... like SCS and Method are about the only ones I'm cool with, there's so much garbage on Tire Rack...

I think the F5's with a matching blazing blue spoke decal and black lugs would look pretty hot boy. Helps create the theme with the vinyl you want. Like this but imagine the decal in blue.

Social media is insidious, as much as it makes me a crotchety old man to say, as an adult it can really put you through the wringer, I can only imagine how it must suck for middle/high schoolers.

Hell it makes me feel depressed sometimes, looking at kids I went to school with and seeing them post kids, family, house, new boat, whatever, and here I am struggling with my boneitis and trying to find a good job.
(Of course sometimes it can give you a little boost, like when the kid who used to give you shit gets arrested for sending dick picks to underage girls, you can be glad that at least you haven't fucked up that bad:rofl:)

I can only imagine how much of a ballbuster it would be to be a young guy with a crush on some girl who puts you on blast or starts posting pictures with her boyfriend... shit.

I like the way you think. My lugs are already black:

I guess maybe measure something out and do something like the ray's/volk logo with the SCS as negative space:

Try doing a Google search for "gun" or "guns" and then switch to the shopping tab. Nothing to see there. Literally.

Yup. That's their new thing. You can search for bombs, or rocket launchers, or anything else you want. But no guns. Screw Google.

I'm so glad I didn't have to crane my AC unit in. What brand did you go with?

I ended up going with daikin, seer 22, ac/dc inverter (No stages it can go from 1%-100% motor speed).

It's a weird unit, runs all the time in the summer. I mean it almost never stops moving air but you'll check it and it's moving the motor at 8%. Since we got it installed it's saved us over $120 a month during the summer months.

Set me back a pretty penny.

Yes mine is a split unit. I had them re-wire everything but we didn't do any extra insulation (I actually want to do that myself and I wanted to put in flooring/storage before I do it).
You can add a nest to almost any AC system, except the ones I have. I love the nest and highly recommend them. (Honeywell Thermostats can suck a dick)
The reason I went with the brand I did was they had a 14 year warranty as long as I let the AC company come out and 'inspect' it twice a year. It pays itself off in 9-10 years so worth it. I had some issues with the install at first so I reemed the company and got my inspections covered for 8 years. I don't know what he's asking for his LT truck but I'm pretty sure my AC unit was around the same price.

Yeah I had 2 wks off between when I started terminal to the first day at my new job. Then I collected dual paychecks for a while because I had 70 days of terminal.
