Anyone here done much camping in the Chiricauas? Looking at heading out Friday night and not sure what the good spots are. Did some Google Earth recon and there looks to be some options around East Pine Canyon Rd but not sure what to expect for dispersed camping, trying to avoid CGs if possible.

Do you blame them? Think about it from their perspective for a second.

If a teacher tries to discipline a student they face being unemployed. Yet, a good portion of parents ARE NOT disciplining these kids at home. As stated up there a few posts ago, parents go to work now and expect the teachers to raise their kids without any teeth. How does anyone expect that to work?

Also, basic fact, teachers are there to make kids smarter, parents are there to make them better people. End of story. Any attempt to blur that line and it gets messy.

By the way, my Wife teaches 4th grade and she does care about her kids a lot. So do her coworkers. They do so much for these kids out of their own pockets and on their own time, so I have to whole heartedly disagree with most of them being that way. Would you spend 40-50K to make 30-35K a year if you didn't like what you did and didn't care about the kids?

It's a shitty, underpaid, overly demanding profession that doesn't get a lot of respect.

Good job in being a father . without realizing it you juat had a grown up conversation with your 10 year old. When he is older he will remember these conversations and they will help him become a man. I always spoke to my kids as young adults . When a school friend would act out or disrespect their parents . I would ask my daughter or son how that same scenario would play out at our house ? They would answer with "we would get grounded and lose some privileges". Even at a very young age they knew what was appropriate behavior and what was not . They even when as far as to predict how some of their friends would turn out because of their behavior and lack of parental guidance.

Going paintballing on Saturday after work, if anyone wants to join... going with a group of guys from work. There's a Groupon for 44% off, ends up being like $20. On top of that another friend from work gets discount on paint. It's at Westworld at 4 pm

Exactly why I said it is one of the worst jobs in my opinion. But from what I've seen my travels I'd say 80% of the teachers I meet didn't care. Lots of inner cities I visited the teacher would show up, walkthrough their lesson plan and not really try to teach anyone who was struggling. My program is for struggling students and it would upset me to see this. Az schools are a lot nicer than a lot of places I've been.

Are you asking about how to get the little connectors on the ditch light itself tucked away, or a whole wiring harness with switch through the firewall?[IMG]
It's not the greatest picture but you can see I tucked the connector down inside of the gasket that is part of the plastic windshield wiper tray thing.

Now you guys are gonna draw me into posting math content.:D For aiming a headlight to DOT standards yeah that's way too close, you gotta be 25 feet back and measure heights and center lines & blah blah...

This is for a non-public road use flood light giving peripheral illumination, so I eyeballed the hot spot to hit the edge of where the headlight begins to throw light. Maybe in practice it was a bad idea but I figure the theory is sound.:notsure:

And the crazy shit is pitbulls represent something like 6.5% of the dog population in the US but account for something like 75% of all dog mauling fatalities.

AR15 pattern rifles account for something like 10% of all the firearms in the US (very ballpark number, we don't have a good source) but account for about 1% of deaths, if I remember the stats right.

You wanna argue the percent of population / number of deaths line of thought you've got a far more solid argument for ban the doggos.

The only number we should be debating, at a national level, is that suicide takes more school age kids than shootings.

We have a national crisis on our hands, guns don't even make the top 5.

Yup, but that's a hard problem that requires effort to solve. You can't ban things to make yourself think you've stopped it and made it go away.

Ive always used the ones that are like little laptop keyboards, or the ones that are linked to the actual computer. I know the handheld ones will do pretty much anything we need to do for vehicles. Basic words and + or - signs.

They get us on the cartridges. Using them a bit ive learned ways to keep the wasred excess down as much as possible.
