I was lazy and grab some for the kids while driving the to school. All 3 are at school today because there is a hockey game tonight. So I have he house to myself. I think I will finish this coffee and go work on clean the garage some more.

Next week is spring break, or as I like to call it... Daddy gets to sleep in for a week!

Damn, thats some determination! grinding an "x" into the heads of the rivet and an air hammer will make short work of the rivets. Thanks to @RPS1030 we knocked out my bumps like this pretty quickly.

With 3 of them, they have learned to go and play amongst themselves.

Probably a stupid question but with a chisel on an air hammer can you just pop the heads off the rivets or does grinding the “x” weaken it enough that you can actually then use the chisel in the first place?

Also once the head is off, do the rivets need to be drilled out or can they be punched out?

I did like 30 of them with my spring under. Best method I found was cut off the head real fast, use a flap wheel to get them flush then air hammer to punch them out.

You can try using the chisel without the X but you wont get very far. Grinding the X really weakens them and once they get hit with the chisel, they pop right off in seconds. From there, just need to use a punch bit in the air hammer and punch the remainder of the rivet out.

Pure gold. Just sent it to my sis "Next years cake design?"

The cul-de-sac has hit a new level of amazing. We just now freely walk in and out of each others houses. At damn near anytime. Rule is "If the garage is open, front door is open or unlocked, or you can hear us, come on in!". I ran out of coffee creamer this morning, walked across the street, walked right in, said hi to my neighbors wife, borrowed creamer, and then walked back home. It's like what you see on TV shows where the neighbors just come and go as they please. Yeah, that's us now.

I've been such a hermit my entire life this is such a unique lifestyle for me. I never experienced having neighbors that I ended up being good friends with. Most of my neighbors over the years would wave, if that. Not once has anyone I've ever been friends with (or family) have ever walked into my house unannounced. Now we go camping, throw parties, go out to bars/dinner, and do everything as a group. Yesterday I had two of my neighbors over helping me build a fire pit in my backyard. They are coming back after work today to help me finish it. The neighbors wife made dinner for the entire cul-de-sac last night. One of the neighbors needed a shovel so they walked into my backyard, went to my shed, grabbed tools, used them and put them back. Such a freaking awesome community.

And on that note, there is a house in the sac that is going up for sale in 4-6 months according to what we are being told by the home owner. If you want to party like its Sun Lakes, but not have to be 60 to move in, we will be taking applications here shortly for the next neighbors to move in. :D

What is this strange place you live in? That would be weird for me - never lived somewhere you were that close with the neighbors.

Sounds like it’s been great though:thumbsup:

For more droop but at the expense of potentially getting some negative arch when stuffed which will void the warranty on pretty much any leaf pack if there is a warranty.

    We call it "The Sac".

It's really weird for me but at the same time, it's so fucking awesome. Hell we are at the point now we have dishes for the kids for when they come over and there is community Tupperware since we eat at each others house all the time.

That is weird. We are all scattered when it comes to work (IT, sales, Landscaping, retired) and we all have one major thing in common.

    BEER.

That's the one rule. You MUST have cold beer on hand at all times. And we do. Fuck this cul-de-sac should be sponsored by Coors Light.

    Hey guys
Is there a general consensus on which OME spring to use with full steel skids? Not gunna have bumper/winch. I think it’s down to 885/886 but I don’t know if I have enough weight for the 886’s.
Any of you suspension gurus have a suggestion?

    Thanks man!
Does the weight B/W DC and AC make a noticeable difference, or would it change those measurements?
