So I was driving out to CA today on I-10. Saw a whole bunch of expo and show rigs on trailers heading eastbound. Something going on?

I believe the off-road expo is in Scottsdale this weekend. Overland expo isn't til the end of next month

It also could be the overland expo guys, they are just so hardcore they are starting the overlanding early, so they can say they’ve been camping for a month.

Sounds good. Hit a snag in the shortcut method, so I will have plenty of work tomorrow. Beer is cold in the cooler.

    Workin' on it....
    So the plot thickens.....

Last week I had some asshat yank the power cord out of one of my ditch lights while I was at my work at 3AM. So low fuel light comes on today but my Ultragauge says I have 6.5 gallons left and I know that the light doesn’t usually come on until about 3.4-3.6 gallons on the UG. Fill up at the gas station and sure enough 18.xx gallons went in and my calculated mileage is 14.9 mpg which I’ve never gotten in my life (usually 16.9-18.1).......

So I think the asshat siphoned my tank in addition to fucking up my ditch light is the coles notes version.

I read a fuel syphoning thread that a guy had a hole drilled in his tank and a plug inserted . They came back for more. Crawl under and check out your tank . If I caught some one fucking with my shit I swear I would end up in jail. I wouldn't know when to stop.

Anyone ever hosted a foreign exchange student? We did when I was a kid, was thinking about doing it again so my kids can experience it.

    Repeat after me:
    • It was dark
    • It looked like he had a weapon
    • he moved threateningly towards me
    • I feared for my life
And remember kids: dead men tell no tales.

One of my buddies here in town is halfway through hosting a 15 year old boy from Beijing. He turned out to be okay so far but unfortunately you don't know what you get it could be hit or miss.
