I got it on eBay from a seller from califagnia. I ordered one window to check out the quality before ordering for the whole house. I measured the window and added 2 inches for l -W so I could trim to fit . It was good quality tint. I could feel the difference side by side compared to the untinted window . I ordered the tints for the whole house about a week later.

I had tint on my windows on my old house.. Def the best way to go but also more expensive. I went with 80% light transmission so I could get the light in the room, the tint blocks the UV which is what causes sun fading and heat. Before the tint, the sun would hit my office wall and that spot would be 108 degrees, after the tint the same spot was less than 85. The cost for the tint was around $7/SQFT.

I'm in the process now of getting quote for my house in Tukee and the price is about the same. I'm doing about 12 windows (Large windows) and it'll run me about 2200 is what I'm figuring.

I did all of mine myself and total cost was around $400-500 (23 windows). I got dark and it is helping a lot. Not sure what screen burn is. Wasn't hard to do but sure was time consuming.

EDIT: I looked up screen burn. It's when you use aluminum screens and they burn an image on the window. I use fiberglass screens so it shouldn't be an issue to remove even if it does happen.

I have an HOA, they dictate color. I just matched the house. Definitely makes a difference in the summer upstairs

    Ummm....stuff and more stuff

Go with the 90% screens. They holes are a little smaller than the 80% but the different is worth the slight cost. Also there was a rebate from SRP for adding screens to all sides of your house except the North side.

The average for Rojo for my trip yesterday was a glorious 12.86 mpg. Much better than I expected.

Measure from the bottom not the top. You gotta do what you gotta do to get in the game.

That's cool as heck. I need to get out on more (prerunner friendly) trails...

What's also cool as heck is that I am officially debt free- as of this moment, no CC balance, no student loans, no car note. :headbang:

    Time to mortgage a house!
