And inside there is an Eaton TVS1900, same blower that comes on the LSA/ZL1 LS engine, it's a proven blower that works. Have one on the shelf myself waiting for a future project.

Well I bought a 9# pork butt since it was on sale for $9!!!! Couldn't beat the price.

Never done a pork butt. Any suggestions for prepping it? I've got apple, peach, cherry, maple, hickory chips to choose from. Im using a masterbuilt electric smoker.

Plan on using an OakRidge pork rub with mustard.

    Brine?
    Inject?
    Mop/Spritz?

    That I did not know.

But on the hows it run question. I have some serious traction issues at the track, and some impressive bed hop lol. I had to get out of it and pedal it a lit to get things hooked up still ran a 15.0 at 95mph. Out of a 4X4 crew max, ignore the time that was due to difficulty launching and traction but 95 mph, is damn good for a stock truck with a blower and a warranty. I should have made it out for another pass but its a long line most nights and to be honest its not that exciting after making 10.7 passes @133 in the GTR.

Cliff notes. Buy a Tundra and buy a blower.

brine and slow roast at 250 in an oven or a soft wood such as a fruit or nut tree. Hickory is very strong and and almost leads to bitterness. My wife in particular will not eat smoked foods on hickory but love pecan and peach mix.

    So I think I've decided I will:
    -Drink beer
-Lather it down with mustard and some left over Oakridge BBQ Pork rub I have.
    -Drink beer
-Inject it with a mixture of the rub, butter, and apple juice.
    -Drink beer
-Let it rest overnight wrapped in plastic wrap.
    -Drink beer
-Smoke it over peach wood or apple wood, haven't decide...maybe both?
    -Drink beer
    -Cook till 195*
    -Drink beer
    -Shred it and serve.
    -Drink beer

In the market for some ditch light brackets if anyone local has any for sale or has any suggestions as to who to buy from. I've been looking at the ones from relentless fab, anyone have experience with these or prefer one company over another?
I'll also be looking for some decent lights for these as well if anyone is selling any or has any suggestions. Spot or flood? Cheaper the better without sacrificing much quality. I'm not a fancy light guy, just looking to light up the ditches without spending an arm and a leg
