@stumbles probably shouldn't be performing aerial maneuvers over a hard surface.

Oh hey @Rextinkleton93 do you mind if I pick your brain a bit about shock valving?

I'm looking at rebuilding services for my newly acquired Fox 2.0's and I figure I may as well plan on custom valving while I'm at it. It would be silly not to.

It appears it's a relatively straightforward job and I would love to tackle it myself but I do not have a suitable work space or vise and vise blocks for taking everything apart.
Anyways, can you just buy flutter stacks or tuned shim stacks off the shelf based on the damping curve you are looking for, or is it a "roll your own" kinda affair where you gotta mix your own blend of 11 herbs and spices?

I'm also wondering- my 2.0's are smooth body but I wanna add resis during the rebuild- would I have to buy a whole new shock body or could I simply get a competent machinist to drill/tap the existing bodies for the fitting?

Also when directing a question to 1 person may be easier to message them to get there attention. Especially someone like kylie, he’s to busy with his tundy.

    Thanks!

Yeah I already have a basic idea about the theory and whatnot but getting down to the nitty gritty details of actually tearing the shock apart is new territory. I wanna learn though!

The closest I've come is I have accidentally opened up the resi on a set of donor motorcycle forks once and poured shock oil all over myself!

    Same.

I’d punch Ryan in the face if he spoke like that.

I’m hungry. Debating on what to make. Stuffed salmon, Japanese curry with beef, or something else. Or just wait for a bomb ass breakfast in the morning.
