So for the string attached to the house, I installed a receptacle up high under the eve and have it switched directly below. I plan to add a z-wave switch to it later to be controlled via the google home. The lights I have installed around the perimeter of the yard is currently on an extension cord from the pool panel. I will be installing a similar setup on the wall for it. Just haven't gotten around to it yet

I was wondering the extension chord route would be ok or if I should have someone come out and piggy back off the outlet on the ground

The extension chord route is ok, but only if the items used are weather proof/protected. Of course, there’s always the more recommended option of trenching and running power to an exterior gifci outlet for the exterior lights. Just find what works for you and run everything in a safe manner

Well the extension cord would work. BUT, if thats going to be your permanent install, you want to make sure that you have an in-use cover on the outlet to protect it from water and also being damaged by contact or what have ya. The other thing is that UV will kill the cord insulation. Extension cords are only for demo use up to 30 days.

I personally don't mind putting in the extra work as I can do it myself. For many, its either a dollar issue or just plain don't care about the appearance. Doing it properly will never come back to bite you

@RPS1030 so I was watching some youtube video and noticed this car from KOH was a bit different. In the beginning you see #679 come up on the Genright jeep. It has 4 wheel independent and 4 wheel steer with driver on right side. Not sure I have seen that combination before.

Which trail is this? Looks pretty difficult.

I should probably make an account at "the other place" because I am a 3rd genner after all. I'm sure the guys over there wouldn't mind if I copy pasted a few of my tutorials on over.

I'm just lazy though, I don't like splitting my time between two different sites.

@02YotaGuy 's bumper is now thoroughly broken down and the black plastics got a blast while I washed the truck:

Not perfect because I was chasing it all around with the high pressure wand, but now it's to the point I wouldn't be completely insane to get out a towel and use some Adams wash on it.

The bumper itself is being saved for mad science, the rest of this will be for sale except for possibly making that lower grille piece honeycomb style.
