So, not sure if this a State Trooper, MCSO, or a City LEO or some dude wanting to try and impersonate one, but it flashed me some white strobe lights in both the headlights and 2 other places in the front bumper right about 1800 today. It came up quick on me going EB between Gilbert and Val Vista on the 202 Red Mountain. I proceeded to pull onto the shoulder and he passed me. Had his window rolled down on the passenger side and waving his hands out the window as soon as he was in front of me. He got off at Greenfield. As I passed him, he had his window still down and pointing at me. Not sure what his deal was. I did notice white vinyle writing on the passenger side of the windshield. Any thoughts mangs?

My search results come back as a 2017 Chrysler 300 in Googling "Arizona Plate 300SHMI".

Sorry for the first pic of the plate blurry, but had my Note 8 zoomed in using the telephoto lense and trying to drive and not crash at the same time.

I'm having like a crazy brain-frying revelation here, been thinking about my sway bar disconnect project.

The Jeep disco appears to be typical FCA trash and not only has problems with frying the motor but also water intrusion into the locking gear assembly itself.
Simple mechanical adaptations of it all have to be installed on the straight run of the bar, which means access is limited. A QD isn't a QD if you have to drop your skid to get to it.

So I started looking at what makes KDSS tick, and it's not so much a "disconnect" as it's just a mounting setup that allows the bar to flex so much that its effective spring rate is almost 0.
Which led me to finding SPRUNG ENDLINKS (also for Heeps) that again let the bar flex to the point that the effective spring rate is decreased drastically and as such articulation between the two front wheels is increased.

But then I took it one step back- I'm a prerunner so I don't have to clear a CV boot- if I can cycle the suspension to full droop and full compression with good clearance on the tie rod and spindle (the next 2 clearance problems) I might be able to get away with just one heim link that I remove...:ohsnap:

Anybody used Vista Paper Recycling? I need to get rid of A LOT of cardboard and am having a hard time figuring out what to do with it. I don't really want to take it to the dump, would rather recycle.

I’ve dealt with him in the past...once. Ordered a suspension from him for a 98 4Runner. A coil spring and two shocks showed up in a severely mangled box from UPS. Called him to tell him what arrived and went back and forth trying to get the remaining parts and ended up just sending what I received back and asking for a refund and after a sob story, received said refund.

    This was 2008ish

Weekends, mainly. I have been spending more time in my garage recently though, getting my fix of tinkering.

My front wheels are not powered anyways, why would I be under the impression that I need them to droop for traction?

I'm not looking for sick articulation, I am looking for less transfer of force from one wheel to the other, to smooth out faster sections of trails. When your front sway is transferring washboard motion from one side to the other the wheels start to float and unsettle the front end.

Run over a speed bump at an angle, then disconnect your front IFS sway and do it again. It's a massive difference.

Trust me my man, there's a method to the madness. ;)
