Shocks and chassis stiffening are the two areas where you can find some miraculous gains.

Speaking of which that's why I was looking for help to install mine... I still don't have a jack.

I have a craftsman 2.5 Ton in PA but I didn't bring it with me cause my first apartment was on the 3rd floor and it's like 120 fucking pounds.

Maybe I should just nut up and buy the HF Daytona jack It's supposed to be an excellent copy of the snap-on, so much so that they actually got sued over it.

My ride this week. Not to bad for what it is.
27+ mpg. More road noise than my Tacoma.
Miss push button start, every time I get in this thing the keys are in my pocket.

I could provide a floor jack and stands this evening or tomorrow.

He’s got to make a Write up first how he will re engineer the jack and stands to do the same purpose but make it 10 times harder to use.

In with the new....test fit is good after some mild persuasion of the mounting studs with a 3lb plastic dead blow (I could get one side of the bumper mounted but the studs were slightly diverging outward so they needed a gentle tap inward).

It's scary how similar everything is to the 3rd gen... I'd be willing to bet you could do a front end swap easy. The flares would look strange front-to-rear but otherwise it almost seems like everything would bolt straight up.

... Doing anything with the stock crash bar? I've been looking for one to modify as part of my light mounting bar. Not sure if I will actually need it though.

And now the light mount IS out for delivery today. :annoyed:

They told me no delivery till Monday. Now it's "on a truck for delivery" again.

At least it’s coming on the weekend - you might be able to get it installed today.

Yeah that is nice, but it also means I am under UPS house arrest for the moment, because I don't wanna leave it sit on my front step.
