Ozark Trail coolers and tumblers at Walmart get reviews that they work as well as rtic.
And they're cheaper.

 

I'm actually going to need one Hilux of each generation so any year that is local is the generation I'm going to start with.

I have several Hilux guys in Australia that found me online and want bumps for there Toyota Hilux's. Making custom bump stops is easy for me, tracking down a Hilux to take measurements from... Not so easy.

Any ideas or direction would greatly be appreciated.

I have tried not being clipped in but just don't like it. If I get the tension right I can clip out quick, just need to get the muscle memory back.

 

I thought Northstar was the top of the heap, how do the two compare?

I always rode with a toe clip on one side, clipless on the other. Dunno why I ever tried it that way in the first place but it became so natural feeling I used it for both road and MTB.

 

Let me do some parts catalog digging for you. Unfortunately you may have to rely on the Aussies to take the chassis measurements for you because any Hilux under 25 years old is basically a unicorn in the US, but often times there is overlap between foreign market and US market parts numbers, or I can get you the PN and an alternate source for the bumps themselves. Unfortunately my only source for this information is Russian, so пожелай мне удачи.

 

Hilux rear bumps can be ordered in the US even though they show no compatible vehicles.

No cross compatibility or order-ability on the front bumps, but PN 48304-0K040 will probably find you an overseas ebay listing or two.
