I've had one for almost 2 years and love it. Trigger was a big selling point for me. And it feels exceptional in the hand. Also going to try the Trijicon HDs sights. They are taller than OEM.

Got a threaded barrel and piston on order. Am expecting an Omega 9K anyday (approved Aug 4th). Still have a YEAR wait on an Ospery :(.

Kids are kinda crazy like that. My son pulled my wife's shirt down the other day at the store cause he sees me mess with mommy like that around the house. I got an earful from her on that one :bananadead::rofl:

I'm too poor to buy the AR I so badly want... Adulting and parenting definitely restricts the toys.

I've been looking at the VP9 for awhile. Handle feels great i bet. I fired off my friend's P30 in .40 S&W and the handling felt so awesome. But im stuck with my durty-five for now.

Broke and reading the 3rd gen forums cuz i was thinking about getting back into a Tacoma. but man that is a shit storm

My biggest problem right now is reliability and cooling. My 2nd gen sucked at cooling. We got stuck on the 87 going to Payson where a vehicle had overturned. I think this was during labor day weekend. So not june/july hot, but pretty fcuking hot. Completely stopped my truck slowly stopped blowing cool air when it started to blow warm air. Mind you my truck was in excellent condition and sun was blaring and nothing i could do. So i popped the hood open and took out the air filter and it helped. I had my entire family of 5 in there with gear and crap. So needless to say if i was stranded with my family, i would burn the mother fcuking thing. I buy Toyota for reliability first and foremost rather than the features. But my Tundra mileage is pretty harsh for my stop and go commute.

Where did you find them for $120 shipped? I'd want orange I think.

I have the .30 cal Omega and it's awesome. Bought another one but it'll be a year along with the Osprey.

True, it's got more in common with the AK, but still. Then again, if anyone wants to ASSist in helping me piece together an AR also, I'm all ears. I have zero AR pattern rifles. This makes me sad.

Ordered a set of sights. Hope they are actually in stock. Lots of other places were out of stock.
Will need to find a place to install them.

3rd gen- It's new, everyone and their mother is going to bitch about issues. I've had a couple minor issues and one somewhat major-E-locker issue. All have been resolved.
Getting 2nd oil change and TSB done this week, should be better after the TSB.
My biggest gripe is MPG. I was a solid 17 for a few months after I bought it and have gone down to 16's lately. Heat maybe? I dunno. I tend to drive fast.

Never had a cooling issue. Only day I could have tested that was a 100 degree day going slow for 4ish hours. However the shocks were useless after that trip, serious shock fade.

Had a few other slow going trips in over 100 degree temps for 2-3 hours with no cooling issues.

Well, I have an appointment to have a cat back custom made for the Turd Gen. Going to a shop I have been going to since I had my first car in Spring Valley, CA.. My buddy Kevin is a pipe bending wizard and has done a ton of SEMA work in the past. I don't trust too many other people. Nice thing is that he is going to make the flange pipe first and test fit everything they offer. (Magnaflow, Dynomax UF, Dynomax VT, Dynomax Superturbo, etc.) I'm leaning towards the 18" truck Magnaflow. Also ordered the AFE Dryflow drop in for the stock airbox. That should wake this truck up a little more. I'll post a soundclip when I get it done.

Alright, someone tell me what the hell type of front coilover setup this is. Adjustable part is maxed out with a 2 inch spacer on top. And yes, those are the rear shocks. Completely blown, not a single PSI left.

While I was finishing these bad boys, my wife went to CBT and picked up a new back up switch for me. The one on it is only 4 years old.
