    Would he want it just after or wait till it dries? Of just after it's pre lubed. If dried it will be tough and scratchy at first.

    If its like the 1st gens, you can pull the inside handle with out pulling the panel, then pull the rod and it should open.

    If it makes you feel any better, my truck is only a 2 door to begin with. And sometimes when you pull the door handle on the passenger door, it locks the door instead of opening it
