@Enjoihavok didnt you just get a ticket in Cali? How did that all work?

Just got nabbed for 85 in a 70 out here. First actual ticket though so I’m assuming I can do traffic school.

Yes I did, where’d you get caught at?

So the main diff is in Arizona you get to choose to take driving school and pay that amount, but then you don’t have to pay your ticket, in California you have to pay your ticket no matter what, then if you want to take driving school ou pay a fee with your ticket saying your doing so, it’s like $20 I think, then driving school online is like $20-50, there’s hundreds to choose from. The one I picked too an hour, they submit it to the city for the ticket to show completition, and mail you a copy as well.

    Well then...
Having driven an F430 once about... shit 10 years ago now. If style is what you want, Ferrari is where it is at. Just... holy shit. I was gobsmacked. The sound of it, the interior, it's a work of art. Nothing else I've driven can compare.

Lambo has stepped its game up but it still seems more like a light show than anything. Like a computer with a lot of LED's all over it blinking. Not any better of a computer, just... blinkier.

Regarding the GTR I'm gonna show my ignorance here but I don't know if they don't offer it anymore or if it was overseas only, but I sat in an "luxury" up-trimmed GTR in Tokyo. I think it was called the Egoiste or something:
All I know is a very nice Japanese woman shook me down and took my coat, backpack, and checked my clothes for conspicuous zippers before I was allowed to sit in it. It was like one of those comfy ass leather couches you could sit in for hours.

Coming into sandiego. Thankfully it was only 15 over so it’s barely in the lowest offense. Figured I’d have to pay for the ticket and and school. Did you just do it all online? Is it easy to figure out?

    Workin' on it....
My buddy and I did the exotic car experience in Vegas. Drove a Ferrari, Lambo and Jag. Ferrari was tops for the whole experience. Lambo while fast and exotic was harsh, rough riding and poorly refined. The Jag - we’ll it’s just a Jag and those are a dime a dozen.

Ferrari was an absolute work of art inside and out and the driving mannerisms were on point. It’s the kind of car that is at home on weekend track days or cruising some windy ass mountain roads on a tour of wineries or something of the sort.

So my apartment number is wrong on my Id and didn’t realize it at the time. Think I can just use the paper copy to do it all online without waiting for it in the mail?

Yes. It should have a link where you enter your citation # and your drivers license or some kind of other information, and then it’ll spit out all the online stuff the same.

Mine showed nothing until about a day before or two before it came in the mail, just fyi.

What model? I've got an Enzo

Have you looked at the Merc GT? That's supposed to be a real usable car. Track day to the shops on one tank of petrol

I do love the Maclarens, but they don't have the fire or flare of a Ferrari

In the end, its still a Nissan. I know its a fast ride, but I dont see it holding value like a true exotic.

Okay. That’s the only part I was freaking out about. Didn’t realize it until he was back in his car. Didn’t want him to write me another citation for that. Fuck California

I remember the 1st 458 I saw. I much prefer the look of it over the 430. Hard to go wrong with either.

Anyone looking for duck loads should check out the Walmart on Tatum and Bell. I picked up some Winchester SuperX 3” #2 for $5 a box. I left some boxes there. They also had another Winchester brand, Xpert,3” #4 for $9 a box. The SuperX has a $2 mail in rebate per box right now.
