I figured it was worth mentioning because I was very impressed with the interior, but you're absolutely right. It's not up to the same level as a true exotic, and never going to be.

McLarens are much more clinical in their approach to making a fast car. They'll gladly choose "faster" over "cooler" and I've heard that their traction control system is something you actually want to leave on because instead of being a heavy handed nanny it basically fixes your fuckups and makes your hamfisted maneuvering into something far less sucky.

Ferrari on the other hand, they would lose 1/10th on a lap time for something that makes the car more cool.

I really can't tell you enough about the SOUND of that F430. It has some sort of active butterfly valves in the intake trumpets or something. For cruising you would say it sounds normal (for a Ferrari) and it's totally livable, but jump on it and your fucking soul gets filled with that Ferrari "WAAAAAAAAAAH!" from the V8. Not loud like hurt your ears loud, but... yes.

Ferraris and red simply go together, but at the same time I feel like it's just too predictable.

The only color I would ever buy my imaginary Ferrari in would be Blu Nart... oh fuuuuck. You know I sackride Blazing Blue Pearl, but Blu Nart is on a whole nother level.
It's got this amazing highlight/lowlight to it. God damn I love this color. It's been one of the Ferrari standby blues since... freakin F355's I think?? Way underappreciated.

If you're after something different, don't get a Ferrari. Lambos come in plenty of obnoxious colors. You can spec a Porshe out in a variety of bright colors too. Mercs are silver and Ferraris are red. Those are the classic colors that bring the money at auction. Nobody wants a neon green '51 250 gt the same as they don't want a canary yellow gullwing. Certain cars are supposed to be certain colors.

Must be from the Chris Evans collection. Be even he knows, Ferraris are supposed to be red and he stated that on TG a few years back

If you're buying a halo car with the intention of selling it again you're doing it wrong.

Amortize that bitch into dust or go out in a blaze of glory. Either way let your estate worry about that shit. ;)

While I certain wouldn’t disagree that neon green would be out of place on a Ferrari, there are enough examples of yellow Ferrari’s that I think it’s an accepted alternative to red. But whatever works for you.

Jesus that was probably the douchiest thing I've read on here. Let people like what they like. If they want a Ferrari, they should be able to get whatever color they please.

Dont bring my landscaper into this. You can have your hot pink chevy volt. No judgement. Just sharing my opinion. Spend your dollars where you want.

oh and Ferraris > than Lambos for real drivers

Youre right, maybe I should restate that: douchiest opinion I've read in the AZBS thread.

Didn't call him a douche, just his opinion that certain cars should only be certain colors. Would hold true for cars that are characters in movies or shows (like the General Lee, Eleanor) That being said, people can hold douchey opinions without being one themselves.

Do they make a volt in hot pink? Asking for a friend.

    My preference is Ferrari.

Subjectively, I think the Ferrari’s have a more organic style - more heart and soul where’s the Lambos are more clinical with sharp angles and lines like an F22 Raptor. Two distinctly different styles just like audiophiles and comparing vinyl and tubes vs digital media and solid state.

I don’t remember the exact exhaust notes from when we drove the Ferrari and the Lambo but what I do remember from driving both was that if I ever could afford one it would be the Ferrari....which is a moot point cuz that will never happen but one can dream haha

That’s awesome that you can share vehicles with your wife. My wife gets horribly motion sick if she’s in the passenger seat so usually when I’m with her and I happen to be driving there is no winding high speed roads for us :(

I get motion sickness if I'm not driving. I've even made myself sick while I was driving. (Porsche on Mt. Lemmon, high speeds)

    The poor thing!

My wife hates when I drive the twisties, this could be partly why. She loves to go fast though. I remember shortly after we were married I she went out with friends and I was doing work on the track car for the up coming race, time got away from me and I was late to pick her up. The track car was tagged so I just jumped in to pick her up. Little did I know that in her alcohol induced state she wouldn’t get out of the car until we hit triple digits. So I found a back road near the res that was mostly straight and I made her wishes come true.

She had a Mini Cooper S convertible at the time, I taught her how to find the line and power through a tight turn, Big Mistake! She damn near scrapped the passenger side mirror on the pavement making a hard left toward the chandler mall.

My ex wife doesn't know how to drive, so I never had to worry about that.
