We seriously need to tax them. They need their own lines in grocery store, and residents get to go in front of them anytime there is a line. They need their own sections in restaurants where we don’t have to look at them wearing shorts in the winter because it’s “omgsomildcomparedtowheretgeycomefrom”. Your pasty legs are an eyesore, keep them hidden under the jeans you ski in, kthanks! They should be required to park in the back half of parking lots. Any non resident of Arizona should be ticketed for driving on the roads between 3 and 6 pm and should be automatically at fault for any accident in which they are involved.

Whoa bro! Whoa! As a resident of Arizona, I wasn’t including “you people” in this, but you know a lot of the northerners come down here to escape the winter cold as well. I’ve comsidered Arizonans to be on the same team, you guys use us for heat, we use you to cool off.

This is why I now work 1/4 mile from home. Seriously whenever I need to head somewhere like REI and there is even moderate traffic road rage starts setting in. I do not miss the days of having to drive 32 miles each way to/from work

Huge pet peeve from the golfer in me, because these damn snowbirds often can prove as AZ residents by DL or homeownership vehicle registration AZ locals get seriously fucked in the winter by golfcourses. Only 1 upper tier golf course has a resident rate the rest just gouge the shit out of us. One of the only tourist type destinations I have ever seen that does nothing for the locals that are out there when it is 110 degrees providing some offseason revenue

I thought it went pretty good.
Have another with a different company Tuesday.
Would be nice to have 2 to choose from. Will see.

 This is only my second winter here as a transplant, but I feel you. For what it’s worth I keep my pasty legs hidden under jeans year round.

One thing I will say though is that native Phonecians are terminally retarded when it comes to operating a motor vehicle. It’s like they touch a steering wheel and immediately lose any semblance of civilization and 50 IQ points. I’m amazed and disappointed in new ways every day. Passing on the right, frantic lane changes, slamming on the brakes for some of the most paint-eater proofed mile long merges in the country... It’s like I’m in Mad Max Fury Road only with a bunch of special education kindergarteners. :burp:

Rant off lol, I know some of it is the snowbirds too.;)

We pass on the right cause your slow ass is doing 55 in a 65 in the fast lane with your Baja Designs lights on for safety.

Haha....I spend everyday commuting for nearly 2.5 hours on the 17 and new levels of ass hattery and idiocy are demonstrated with a “hold my beer, I got this attitude” almost daily

When you have someone in the slow lane doing 60 in a 65 the person next to them doing 61 the person next to them doing 61.5 and the person in the fast lane doing 62 all with a line of cars behind them it's hard not to become enraged. Making you wish this was a dealer option

Oh I see that plenty too and it’s just as annoying, but what I am talking about is the people who dive to the inside the moment someone goes from 75 in a 65 on down to 74.999 and this requires a no-looker slide to the right lane to pass. Which often just puts them in the slower flow so they dive back (without looking again) to a different lane. Usually these people are also tailgating the living shit out of anyone and everyone in front of them.

And for what it’s worth I know my shit is slow, so I just jam out in the slow lane most of the time.;)

Because of my current profession, I get to see the dumbest shit imaginable. Two days ago I got a phone call from an angry driver. "Your truck just ran a stop sign on Cactus and 83rd! Because he didn't stop, the car behind him didn't think he had to stop! I almost got into an accident with that car! What are you going to do about it????!!!!"

I told the "gentleman" that I would check my driver's dash cam, but that we could not be responsible for the driving of others. I checked the dash cam. Driver was stopped at the stop sign for at least 40 seconds. When this person was describing as my "driver not stopping" was my driver's trailer going through the intersection behind his truck...*sigh* this is what I have to deal with regularly.

I agree!! The snowbirds make winter here hard to enjoy when you are out on the road. They make Costco more terrible too.

Since Im looking to move in a few weeks, wasn't sure if I need to be aware of any weird inspection rules out in the Scottsdale/phoenix area? I have some aftermarket headlights that came with the halogen projectors that I retrofitted to have the HID dedicated projectors and have installed a 5500k morimoto kit in. Not sure if I will have to get a set of regular headlights, but don't mind if I have to in the event HIDs are an issue with inspection. I also have the LED turn signals that go yellow when the turn signal is engaged, but are white when not turning (sorry I forget the term). Last issue is I recently busted a cv and have the middle shaft completely removed on my passenger side where the tulip is still in the diff to keep sealed, while the other end is in the hub to keep it in tension. This isn't the first time this has happened, but up in VA I passed without issue since the cv ideally was considered "removed." I also assume being in Scottsdale that a smog test is required based off what I have seen online?

Thanks for any who can answer these questions.
