I need to save all the weight I can, now that I have 2 batteries under the hood. Wait a minute....two batteries...this is too similar to a Tesla, I am taking one out immediately!

Some of my buddies would use those on the river and were lucky to get 2 trips out of them but ended up being cheaper than renting. Just steer clear of brush and you'll be good. Have fun!

OK, possibly looking at getting a trailer for living in. Any suggestions for something the Tacoma can tow? I really don't want to have to get a tow pig too.

Is there a unicorn trailer that can fit a maverick x3 and still be livable and towed my the Tacoma?

    BRB, looking at dodges. Haha

A year and a half ago, my brother and his new bride sold all their possessions and commenced their new life together on the road in a 2nd gen. DCLB Tacoma and their camper. They lived in it for about a year before settling down in the northwest. They are now expecting their first kiddo.
Four season capability was a must for them, which is what drew them to this brand as opposed to the "Casita" which is another clamshell fiberglass design (https://casitatraveltrailers.com/)

I've heard the R-Pod trailers pair well with the Tacoma, although I don't speak from personal experience.

    and I don't think it'll fit an X3...

Just built one out on dune sport. Looks like $32k but I am unsure how much weight all the accessories will add.

is the trailer going to be stationary? If so, what about getting like a bigger travel trailer and just renting a tow pig when necessary?

Keep dry weight under 4500lbs and you'll be good. By the time you load it up you'll be pushing the tow limits. Then get a sc for power to tow it!!!

I like it. Should be at 6800-accessories I put on the truck - 2000 for maverick=wet weight. I do like forced induction. ETA on those turbos?
