Last I heard it’s supposed to be in next week. Shop called and said they are having trouble finding a replacement wheel (pro 4Runner wheel) and that is what may throw them off schedule. Also said since the frame was damaged, it may not drive like it used to. Not sure wtf that is supposed to mean, but I am trying to keep and open mind. I will be pursing DV once the vehicle is repaired. Solicited and received some great advice here on how to pursue.

Good to hear on the DV part. How can they not find a wheel? every dang dealer in town has those things, unless trying to find one in a salvage yard first. Make sure to take that thing on a good test drive at all different speeds and bring it back if something doesn't feel right.

Who else was having clock spring issues? @freddy2923 I think. Not sure if you went with an eBay one like I did, but mine showed up yesterday and was the non steering wheel controls one. I need to look at a schematic, but I think I'm going to try to swap a few pins around and switch the horn to be either the push to talk button, mode button, or both since I've literally never used them before and they are currently functioning. I'll post up if it works.

Fuck. I said I wouldn’t do a bumper on this truck but this is sooooo clean. They want $1500 for them which is hard to swallow when I can do it for $300 in 2 days though. But I’m soooo lazy. Guess I need to go buy some tube

That does look damn good. Wish there was a similar style for the Tacomas. I do dig the marlin crawler tube bumper but I don't know if it would look good with my light setup. It'd be easy as hell to have some tabs welded on to mount them but I dunno if it would look goofy.

And I have an extra quicksand front bumper just sitting around "in case"

Your truck would probably look terrible with that style bumper. Looks terrible with those crooked lights. I'd ditch em and sell them cheap

Can rear drums be individually replaced or it has to be a new axle?

You will have to pull the axle rod on that side and I think some stuff that’s still good will have to be removed with a press, but the drum assembly just bolts on.

TL;DR yeah you can do just one side.

    Flattery won’t get you anywhere.:p

Glad to hear you're alright man! That's never fun. That happened to me in my k5 blazer, except it was the front wheel. I got to watch a 35" tire fly down the side of a mountain on my way to San Diego. I thought the truck was going to flip over it fell so far before the disc hit the ground.
